Visitando lugares en la ciudad de Maturín // (Esp/Eng)

Hola, amigos. Quiero contarles que durante los días que estuve en Maturín buscando a mi nieto Gael, que vive allí, fui con mi esposo y Gael a llenar el tanque de nuestro carro antes de regresar a Cumaná. Una vez que terminamos de llenar el tanque, como aún era temprano, Gael quiso disfrutar de un helado. Como estábamos cerca, decidimos ir a la heladería Laya, que nos encanta por sus deliciosos sabores. Así que nos sentamos y disfrutamos de nuestros helados, cada uno con su sabor favorito. Después de terminar estos deliciosos helados, como la catedral estaba cerca, pensé que estaría bien entrar, aunque me sentía un poco incómoda porque no iba vestida adecuadamente, pero al final decidimos entrar. > Hello, friends. I want to tell you that during the days I was in Maturín looking for my grandson Gael, who lives there, I went with my husband and Gael to fill up our car's tank before returning to Cumaná. Once we finished filling up the tank, since it was still early, Gael wanted to enjoy some ice cream. Since we were nearby, we decided to go to Laya ice cream shop, which we love for its delicious flavors. So we sat down and enjoyed our ice cream, each with our favorite flavor. After finishing these delicious ice creams, since the cathedral was nearby, I thought it would be nice to go inside, although I felt a little uncomfortable because I wasn't dressed appropriately, but in the end we decided to go in.
  
Les puedo decir que cada vez que voy a esta ciudad y tengo la oportunidad de visitar esta hermosa y famosa iglesia, aunque esta visita no estaba planeada, la visito porque me gusta pasar un rato allí. Así que cuando llegamos, lo primero que hicimos fue persígnanos. Esta iglesia es conocida como Nuestra Señora del Carmen, un icono de la ciudad, y también es importante porque es la segunda más alta de toda América Latina. Me quedé realmente impresionado al estar en este hermoso y sagrado lugar. > I can tell you that every time I go to this city and have the opportunity to visit this beautiful and famous church, even though this visit was not planned, I visit it because I like to spend some time there. So when we arrived, the first thing we did was cross ourselves. This church is known as Our Lady of Carmen, an icon of the city, and it is also important because it is the second tallest in all of Latin America. I was truly impressed to be in this beautiful and sacred place.
 
Esta iglesia es de fácil acceso y está ubicada en la Avenida Bolívar, en la intersección con la calle Monagas. Quiero compartir que una de las cosas que más me gustan de este edificio es su diseño de estilo arquitectónico y moderno. También me sorprende lo bonito y alto que es este templo, ya que tiene capacidad para un gran número de personas. Lo bueno es que está equipado con aire acondicionado, lo que lo convierte en un lugar más agradable para todos los devotos que asisten a los servicios religiosos. > This church is easily accessible and located on Bolívar Avenue, at the intersection with Monagas Street. I want to share that one of the things I like most about this building is its modern architectural design. I am also surprised by how beautiful and tall this temple is, as it can accommodate a large number of people. The good thing is that it is equipped with air conditioning, which makes it a more pleasant place for all the devotees who attend religious services.
  
Durante esta visita inesperada a la iglesia, al entrar sentí una gran emoción, buena energía y tranquilidad. Mi nieto Gael estaba a mi lado mientras rezábamos en los diferentes altares que descubrimos. En ese momento, se estaba rezando un rosario en la iglesia, y me uní a Gael en la oración. Luego exploramos cada uno de los altares, donde encontramos representaciones religiosas como Jesús de Nazaret, el Niño Divino, Jesús de la Misericordia y la Virgen de Coromoto, entre otras. A pesar de todo, me sentí a gusto y viví un momento especial, como si estuviera en un encuentro con el Señor. Doy gracias a Dios porque a Gael le gusta este lugar. Así que, amigos, cada vez que visiten Maturín, les recomiendo que pasen por este lugar sagrado, motivo de orgullo para lo Venezolanos. > During this unexpected visit to the church, upon entering I felt a great emotion, good energy, and tranquility. My grandson Gael was by my side as we prayed at the different altars we discovered. At that moment, a rosary was being prayed in the church, and I joined Gael in prayer. We then explored each of the altars, where we found religious representations such as Jesus of Nazareth, the Divine Child, Jesus of Mercy, and the Virgin of Coromoto, among others. Despite everything, I felt at ease and experienced a special moment, as if I were in an encounter with the Lord. I thank God that Gael likes this place. So, friends, every time you visit Maturín, I recommend that you stop by this sacred place, a source of pride for Venezuelans.
