So, I've taken a bit of a long and hard look at life. Here's a poem that sums up my life on Steemit:

Steem or No
Blanket wet and thrice thrown off the midwinter screams the warning finest silver shines in the waning light but nothing ventured nothing gained.
Rank on rank of petulant children soothing themselves with dreams that never fly above the morning horizon where the once-dark sky is now purple-stained.
Freeing and fleeing the mounting hounds that howl and purge their gullets just waiting like bullets in the chamber of the Colt .45 Peacemaker to shower down as rain.
Suspicion creeps up as time slows the wary eyes that squint at the edge of a cold wind blowing over the mountains where the once-dark sky is now purple-stained.
Nimble fingers woo the world that camps out with full-throated screams in the night by way of a fading light shining off dew from the storms sweeping over barren, broken plains.
Preaching hope and horror in droves where the macrocosm is the growing norm of a society huddled en masse by slow-burn pyres where the once-dark sky is now purple-stained.
