Hey lovelies ❤️ It's your favorite girl @debbie-ese 😍 Welcome to my blog 🤗
I use this opportunity to welcome you all to the tenth month of the year, October. I wish you a productive and satisfying month. It is amazing how fast the year is moving. When did we begin January that we are already in October? This is a reminder that even though we have just few months to the end of the year there is still so much time to achieve whatever you set your mind to. Don't be discouraged by the challenges you have faced but let every step you take count even if it feels slow. Keep pushing and be consistent in achieving all your goals. The year is not over yet, amazing achievements can still be unlocked.
Speaking of some of the challenges we face, the weather and lack of power supply is one I would like to speak about. Even with the rainfall that we experience day in day out, the heat in the afternoon and some nights have been intense. With lack of constant power supply to use fan/air-conditioning, the heat becomes very crazy. About two days ago, I was in my tailoring shop trying to meet up with deadlines but the heat was so unbearable that I couldn't wait for my closing time. All I had in my head was that I need something refreshing to ease my stress.
As soon as I closed, I found my way to one of my favorite spots where Rufaidah yoghurt is sold. Rufaidah yoghurt is known for high quality yoghurt whether you prefer it sweetened or unsweetened. This is the best way that I feel like I could reduce the effects of the hot day on my body and it is worth every sip.
So, I ordered two 550ml bowls of the yoghurt with each costing #1800 ($1.17). Also, you can add extra goodies to improve the quality of your yoghurt like full cream milk, coconut, dates, or fura (millet dough ball). I opted for fura and coconut in each bowl which costs #200 ($0.13) per topping. Fura is rich in magnesium which helps reduce migraines, relax the muscles, and improve sleep quality. While, on the other hand, coconut serves as a natural sweetener that takes the taste of the yoghurt to another level.
The yoghurt spot have a blender that is used to mix the yoghurt and your toppings into one smooth creamy bowl of sweetness. I couldn’t wait to get back home so that I can begin to enjoy myself. So, I gave my husband and my son a bowl, although I still shared for my son from mine. Once I got home, I freshened up and sat on the couch with a movie playing on the screen as I enjoy my spoons of thick creamy yoghurt. I really felt relaxed and in a short while I had dozed off right there on the couch.
Have you ever tried Rufaidah Yoghurt or is Habib Yoghurt your favorite? Are you a fan of fura or is it a NO for you?
Let's meet in the comments, lovelies.
Thanks for reading and see you in my next one.
