Hey lovelies ❤️ It's your favorite girl @debbie-ese 😍 Welcome to my blog 🤗

It's been quite some time I have been off the radar due to some health reasons but I'm thankful that I'm back, healthy and in the right frame of mind to create contents once again. I will always say it every time I have the opportunity to say it that we should always give our body adequate rest when it is needed and not overwhelm our body with too much work. It is important and key to longevity.
In today's post, I will be sharing with us how to make creamy vitamin packed smoothie made from two ingredients - watermelon and banana. All you may need to refresh your body after a long day at work may be a cup of watermelon banana smoothie or if you need some light yet nutritious to drink any time of the day you can always count on a bottle or cup of watermelon banana smoothie.
Watermelon and Banana is a very good combination for so many reasons and the first one is that they have natural sweeteners, so you should not bother about adding any extra sweetener to your smoothie. Watermelon contains 90% of water which simply means that it is a great option to stay hydrated and it also contains vitamins and antioxidants.
Which banana on the other hand offers so much creaminess to your smoothie. It also contains potassium and fiber among others.
Ingredients
- 1 wedge of watermelon
- 7 ripe banana

- 1 cup of water

Step by Step
- Start by prepping your ingredients. So, wash the watermelon and cut into small sizes and set aside.

- Wash the banana, peel the banana and cut it into small sizes too.
-
You may decide to freeze the watermelon and banana before blending or you put in the fridge after blending and bottling. It all depends on your preference.

-
Next, place the watermelon in the blender first and blend. After blending you can use a sieve to extract the seeds from the juice and pour back into the blender.

- If you have a juicer or blenders that separates the juice from shafts and seeds, you may have to ommit the step above.

- Now add your banana and blend until it is smooth. If it is too creamy or thick you can add some water to loosen it down a bit.

- Your smoothie is ready. You can store in a bottle and keep in the refrigerator but be sure to finish it up as soon as possible.
Thanks for reading and see you in my next one.
