I remember sitting on the floor, so it was just a small room surrounded by, I finished notebooks and that is full of doubt.
So looking around, everything felt so heavy. My dream seemed as if it was too big. It was as if I was feeling too much to reach them. It was a time that I wanted to quit, then a voice in my head said, don't dare.
The voice wasn't loud but it feels so powerful and it made me calm, it gave me courage. I saw I would truly believe that I can do something big, so don't you dare give up. So after coming this far, I said to myself, I won't.
The voice came again, don't you dare, let the fear decide how you live your life. I got up, I wrote some other line, it was time to take another small step. All the fear became my shield.
It happens when things fail to work out. Sometimes, motivation does not come from those loud steps like, oh, those big successes. Sometimes, it's just that quiet whisper saying, don't you dare to stop now.
