The love of God is like the love of listening to Jesus, God’s Son, who also has the same power and authority as God. I heard this on the podcast the other day, and it blew me away.
He came down in the flesh and allowed the original programming of his mind and being to be altered so that he could empathize with human suffering, because he experienced it to the greatest degree.
He stepped out of being perfect. He didn’t come to earth as a strong, built man; he became the lowliest, with very little knowledge or understanding of this world, as an infant.
And if that wasn’t enough, he literally came down to demonstrate the love of the Father by becoming one of us to show us how much he loves us.
He never had to experience pain in his life from a fingernail breaking, he wouldn’t have had to experience that. Yet he came down and was crucified voluntarily.
