All this bubu gown are the most easiest and quick to make on else it has a design you want to do on it this actually doesn’t take me 2 hour to achieve the dress.
Measurement required; Length Bust Waist Hip Sleeves Shoulder/ back
I folded the fabric in 4 with 16" since it's a bubu dress , the sleeves will be cut together with the main bodice.
Add the horizontal measurement after that I put the neck measurement, I used 2.5 by 2.5 for the back depth 1.5 from shoulder line I added 10 for the sleeves the come down by 2inches for the shoulder slope from that point I mark 10 down the sleeves opening . To get the fullness of the dress divide burst, waist and hip by 4 and add 3inches to it for easy and full length of the dress.
front part has opening I mark 2inches although the neck to the down for the bubu dress went I open it, it was looking like Kimono dress.
Stitches processing
Firstly join the shoulder before fixing up the the built up collar, I took my tape to measure although the neck to the front opening and before I cut out 2.5 from the front bodice I cut out the same for the band of my neckline 2.5 width unfold and for length one end of the opening to the end to another open. up the band and mark out the neckline is be using 17 for the point I make a stitch down and also the front has slip and from the down the front block I measure up where I want the slit to stop after that i fix it the main body and also attached 3inches band on the sleeves edge before sewn the sides.
