Finally I was able to make my mummy dress to wear to church on Sunday after a series of scolding. I’m. Always hesistant to sew clothes these days after been ill for a while , returning to the machine was seaming difficult. Since mummy instated in wearing this to church I had to drag my lazy self to see it.

You know when mummies have their eyes fixed on something it’s almost impossible to convince them even though I begged her to wear something else.

I can remember that faithful day I went to the market to get this lovely material fabric for my mother just like yesterday. initially I have a plan to sew gown or skirt and blouse but she insist that she want a fitted blouse on iro then I go for that now she feel like changing it and you know if our mothers need something from us we have to do it with joy and gladness and sometime it’s make not be easy.

Making process of the outfit.

Actually it doesn’t take time at all bring out the fitted blouse just cut out the half length that I needed from the blouse

then go straight to the iron fold the fabric into two input the skirt measurements then I cut and place it to cut back block for the skirt with addition of 1.5 for zip allowance.
