from the shoulder line on the folded part, I measured 7" for the shoulder line and from which I measured 11" for the sleeve, the shoulder slope was connected with 1.5, for the front neckline I used 3 x 3" I also measured 4" down although is 7inches of the front and the back neckline, I measured 3x 1.5", from the shoulder I measured 11 for the armhole and circumstances of the dress I divided the hip by 4 and add 5inches for the freeness and seam allowance was connected down length to the dress

There's stylist pocket at the front of the bubu dress

I cut out two pieces of the Ankara fabric for the pocket width of 10inches and length of 12inches, I also cut out two pieces of ongaza fabric for taping the sides and down of the pocket I cut out length of 50inches and width of 2inches on fold of each side of the pocket

Stitches part of the pocket to the dress

I fold in the top and the down of the edges by 1inches and the sides I also fold in 1inches and go ahead to mark 18inches from the shoulder were the pocket will start from on the front block on the side of the dress I marked 2.5" after that I use pin to safeguide the pocket before plainting the ongaza down of the pocket I did same thing to other side as were.

Finally, I cut out facing for the front and the back block of the dress. I run stitches on it turn it out and press it after that I joined the front and back shoulder, I cut 3" on fold to attached to the sleeve and sewn the side with 1" seam allowance then I attached this tiny rope at the center area of the sleeve, length of 25" width of 2" and it was hem of full length with 1.5" and the outfit is ready.
