Hello, how are you all, hive friends?
I hope you're all well and always blessed in life π
This is my 135th post since I entered the weekly art contest held by @Splinterlands.
Here I draw the character Gorth from the Splinterlands Gorth card game.
I drawing this Splinterlands fanart character, inspired by Bane in the Batman comics, a large, muscular man covered in prominent veins.
I made this character resemble Bane because I saw that his weapon was a giant hammer that looked very heavy. So I assumed Gorth would have to be large, muscular, and veiny if he were to lift a giant hammer with iron spikes on its head.
But I'm quite happy to participate and draw Splinterlands characters to practice my illustration skills.
Overall, making Splinterlands fanart is always fun, because there are so many characters to create fanart for.
For coloring, I used an American comic book style.
To create this character, I used Gpen thick and thin line art.
This time, I didn't have a goal, because just participating in the @splinterlands character drawing competition is already really cool in my opinion.
And congratulations to the top 3 winners and the other winners π₯°ππΊππππ₯³
Also, thank you to my friends in the Hive community, curators, and other artists who have always supported my work.
I created this work in 7 hours, with 3 hours of line sketching and 4 hours of coloring and effects.
