[Well, dammit! I broke the ten k per day step streak for no good reason again other than I fell asleep before I finished cheating...no use crying over spilled milk, I suppose. I feel like the watch is mostly to blame, ripping me off, but with how little I've been going out for actual exercise lately, I don't think shifting the blame is totally justified.]

Got to bed at around ten last night, was up when Wenche went to bed and then again at around two when I got up and moved out to the couch. Unfortunately, I didn't make it that far and was up again at quarter to six putting me a half an hour short for the first time in a while. 😢

Got on with the usual morning routine and did the normal stuff I do every day: curation, pings, emails, Dungeon Master, and, of course, checked on the crypto markets.

Been pretty harsh the last few days, eh? I mean, not crazy major, but a continuing slide...BTC back below $28k and HIVE still stuck below forty cents. Was what we just saw a FED-fueled bear market rally and not the turnaround? Looking like that might be a possibility.

I went in and checked my Polygon investments as well. They're basically in the same place they were, so at least I'm not losing more, I guess...every Cloud has a silver lining?

Spent the rest of the morning working on my post and cranked out another epic. 💪 I even got done nearly an hour before posting time and I scheduled it to post at ten. Wenche has work scheduled for tomorrow so we had to get the weekend's worth of stuff done in one day and we headed in early to do the weekly grocery shopping.

We got done pretty quickly and didn't get a lit of meats, but with toilet paper and whatever we still busted a hundred and twenty; spent it like ten times faster than we can make it. 😱😝

Got home, got everything put away, and had lunch and it wasn't even eleven! 😮 I'd missed all of Gartic, but showed up just in time for Trivia over on Pizza server. 🥳 I did relatively well this week, but I did miss a math question about the first Marsenne prime that was found and they weren't willing to let my shame pass. 🤣 Otherwise, it helped me get my message count up and I got all the giveaways entered for this week. 👍

I suppose one other thing out of the ordinary I did today was change up my profile picture. I'd had that same one for a while and people were talking about profile pics over in Discord after Trivia and I decided to head over to Nightcafe and play around with DALL-E for a bit.

I think the prompt I gave it was "superhero slug friendly" or something close to that. While it didn't really give me what I was hoping for, this little snail dude popped out and I liked it: 😁

I try to keep all my profiles consistent, so I changed Facebook and Twitter and Twitch and Garmin and Discord and everywhere! After two hours, though, the pictures still hadn't changed in PeakD or in Keychain app. 😡

I thought that maybe something was wonky with the op and I asked over in PeakD server, but after messing around with it for a while, I finally verified that it was the browsers and not the op that wasn't working.

First I tried to clear cookies and website data...that was awesome, it deleted out all the PeakLock accounts I had set up but the picture was still the same. 🤬🤬 Eventually I found it under the History tab. There's a completely separate option to clear cached images! That was fairly satisfying to finally see the pic change (after like an hour of trying), and then I got to redo all my PeakLock keys. 😛

Now that I had it changed everywhere else, Keychain app was still being a little bitch...tried deleting out my account (got to reenter my keys yet again) but that changed nothing. BUT, for some reason I decided to dig into the phone settings...and I found the "clear cache" for it!!!! 🤯 As soon as I hit that, boom! it was fixed.

I had to re-login to all the sites I had open, but no biggie. That was a major learning experience, though, which should hopefully be helpful in the future...that's the answer Hive projects always give me when their games are borked: "clear cache," now I can actually do it. 😀👍 Anyway, small victories, take 'em where you can get 'em.

As the afternoon was getting on, I was feeling pretty "dirty," so I cut my hair and hopped in the shower...then, what do you know? She showed up in the shower too! 😉🥰😘

My back was bothering me pretty bad, though, and I did get some painkillers with dinner. We made personal pizzas 🍕 today and they were super yummy but I forgot to get my pic for the Discord contest again. 😵

[Speaking of which, I just realized I forgot about the meme contest in SlothBuzz Discord. Dangit! Guess I should check on that.]

We basically chillaxed for the rest of the evening and rewatched the original Chronicles of Riddick and I still had like six thousand steps left for the day when I got ready for bed.

Honestly, I did try. I watched some Nile Red and paced laps for like three or four thousand steps but gave up for the last couple thousand. I didn't make it very long after laying down, though, and actually thought I'd finished (which was false). Was a relatively productive day, though, otherwise.

Splinterlands: A dollar ten, dollar forty, dollar sixty, dollar eighty, and today a dollar ninety! I'm definitely digging the trajectory my Splinterlands rental income is on, can only hope that it continues. 🤞

It's been a while since I saved any SPS to swap out. I've used some for the rental fees, but otherwise just been constantly staking it all...it's the GLX drop that's spurred it, which makes little to no sense seeing as how the value keeps falling and I'm not making all that much headway anyway.

Still, staking it means it isn't going anywhere, so I'm not losing anything, and I might snag a few more thousandths in interest here and there...trying to delay gratification, I suppose (and justify it to myself 😜).

dShitty: .039 HIVE and forty-two SIM is definitely a crapton more income than I was getting on dShitty before, so not complaining in that sense. 🤑 The improvement is starting to wane, though, hopefully it won't become just another broken record again.

RS: Speaking of broken records, I ran several missions on Rising Star today and a lesson to get my Ego back down after the drunk fans expired...sounds fairly similar to the last umpteen days (though I have been paying a little more attention to it lately for some reason).

HK: Big hype nowadays seems to be the new avatars coming out for communities. While I applaud the partnerships, I'm not sure it's so smart for those partners to hitch their wagon to this donkey, but what do I know? I'm just a HIVE gamer. (I know all about getting excited to click buttons 😛)

GLX: We're getting into this nasty SPS-like pattern where the bigger my balance grows the less it's worth. 🤬 I suppose it's good that I'm not selling them out then, just obsessively staking it all? Watch them go to a penny and never come back. 😝

AR: I had a little liquid HIVE saved up for just such an occasion...waiting for something to strike me to spend it on, and I got that ping from Astral Revelations to grab some more ASTRA before the STELLARUM drop, so that's exactly what I did. Grabbed five HIVE more worth and boosted my ASTRA holdings to seven thousand and, consequently, my drop to a solid seven hundred. 🤑👍
