ENJOYING THE NATURES BEAUTY at BUWAKAN ni ALEJANDRA

 Traveling to a place with family needs planning, and sometimes it is unexpected. Yes, because last Sunday we had our unexpected travel to Balamban, Cebu, and had a side trip to Buwakan ni Alejandra. We attended a BCBP breakfast fellowship of the Toledo-Balamban Chapter since we accompanied our mission director, who was invited as the sharer of their breakfast fellowship. After the fellowship, we decided to visit Buwakan ni Alejandra. Since most of us haven't visited the place, we're very eager to pursue our plan.     Buwakan ni Alejandra was located at Setio Bunga, Barangay Gaas,Transcentral Highway, Balamban, Cebu. It is more or less 30 kilometers away from the town proper of Balamban. You can go there via motorcycle, v-hire, or by private car. For me, the place is just a little Baguio since it's quite cold there, even if it's already 10:00 am, and it was planted with so many Pine Trees. It is one of the most visited places in the province of Cebu because of its unique plantation of flowers and ornamental plants. Its entrance fee is 100.00 for adults and 75.00 for children below 10 years old. So we paid almost 700.00 pesos since we're 7 in all. After paying, we were given a wristband as an indicator that we'd paid our entrance fee.           When we were at the entrance of the garden, the tourist guide greeted us and introduced the entrance and exit of the garden, as well as the pathways to get there. We started at the exit since my hubby was looking for a comfort room. After that, we started our tour. We were amazed by the view because of the different flowers with various colors and kinds that grow beautifully. It's very lovely to look at and I feel as if I am inside a place where no worries or problems, but only happiness. For me, it's a symbol of love, peace, and romance. When I see flowers, I feel security, care, gratitude, and sympathy. Maybe this is one of the reasons why lots of people love to visit the place to find peace and comfort.        We never missed capturing a photo in every area as our souvenir to keepsake. While taking some pictures, one of the tour guides approached us and offered to take a video. The guide directed us on what to do. We kept on waving, dancing, and grooving as the music played. He also took a video around the garden as a background. We enjoyed what we did and laughed together while looking at the output of the shows. We were thankful to the tour guide and gave him a tip of 300.00.              Then we continued our tour to the other side of the garden to experience taking photos with some amenities until it was already noon. So I hurriedly went to the parking area near the restaurant and ordered food from our lunch menu. I ordered chop suey, chicken quesadilla, and a shake. After eating our lunch, we watched the zipline at the adventure cafe. I planned to take a ride, but I was in discomfort because it was my monthly sickness, and I felt pain in my abdomen. So we just watched some guests who took a ride. When it was already 2:00 pm., we got home. We were thankful for the time spent together with my BCBP family. It's a wonderful moment to cherish forever and ever.
