Good evening friends,
Welcome back to my blog. Today we're talking about the museum collection of the **Civic Art Museum**, located in the beautiful town of Pordenone, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
An interesting aspect is that the museum collection has been formed over time thanks to bequests, donations, and targeted acquisitions, starting from the initial core of works donated by the **19th-century painter Michelangelo Grigoletti**, a native of Pordenone.

Bentornati sul mio Blog. Oggi parliamo della collezione museale del **Museo Civico d’Arte** situato nella bellissima cittadina di Pordenone, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
Un aspetto interessante è che la collezione museale si è formata nel tempo grazie a lasciti, donazioni e mirate acquisizioni, a partire dal nucleo iniziale costituito dalle opere donate dal **pittore ottocentesco Michelangelo Grigoletti**, originario di Pordenone.

The museum tour unfolds chronologically and is divided into sections of great interest.
The rich **wooden sculpture section** is considered one of the most important in the region, with works ranging **from the 14th to the 16th centuries**. Among the pictorial masterpieces, those by artists from the Veneto and Friuli regions stand out, including several paintings by the great master **Giovanni Antonio de Sacchis**, known as Pordenone (1483-1539), one of the greatest exponents of the Renaissance.
La passeggiata alla scoperta del museo si sviluppa in senso cronologico ed è formato da sezioni di grande interesse.
Di particolare rilievo è la ricca **sezione di scultura lignea**, considerata una delle più importanti della regione, con opere che spaziano **dal Trecento al Cinquecento**. Tra i capolavori pittorici spiccano quelli di artisti di area veneta e friulana, tra cui alcune tele del grande maestro **Giovanni Antonio de Sacchis**, detto il Pordenone (1483-1539), uno dei massimi esponenti del Rinascimento.

But it's not just ancient art. The museum also houses works from subsequent centuries, with significant works **from the 17th and 18th centuries**, and a vast selection of **19th-century production**, extending all the way up to the 20th century, with paintings, sculptures, and drawings that attest to the vitality of the local art scene and beyond.
The exhibition also includes the **Treasury of the Cathedral of San Marco**, with its precious reliquaries, and a remarkable collection of drawings.
Ma non è solo arte antica. Il museo accoglie anche le opere dei secoli successivi, con testimonianze significative **del Seicento e del Settecento**, e una vasta selezione della produzione ottocentesca, per giungere **fino al Novecento**, con dipinti, sculture e disegni che attestano la vitalità della scena artistica locale e non solo.
Arricchiscono l'esposizione il **Tesoro del Duomo di San Marco**, con i suoi preziosi reliquiari, e una notevole collezione di disegni.
