Feliz noche amigos de Lifestyle está noche quiero compartir con ustedes una linda tradición que comencé el año pasado y es que el año pasado comencé a cumplir una promesa y es llevarle una torta todos los 7 de septiembre a la virgen Del Valle. Recuerdo que el año pasado hice está ofrenda por la salud del bebé de una prima y la salud de una amiga y este año lo hice por la salud de mi mamá y de mi sobrina. Es algo que decidí hacer y espero poder hacerlo muchos años más.
Happy night, Lifestyle friends. Tonight I want to share with you a lovely tradition I began last year. Last year, I began fulfilling a promise: to bring a cake to Our Virgen del Valle every September 7th. I remember that last year I made this offering for the health of a cousin's baby and the health of a friend, and this year I did it for the health of my mother and my niece. It's something I decided to do, and I hope to be able to do it for many more years.
Aunque estás últimas semanas mi vida a sido un poco un caos pude cumplir con la promesa que tenía y prepare una torta hermosa, sencilla pero sobre todo llena de amor y mucho agradecimiento. Al salir de casa me tomé esta foto para enviársela a mi mejor amiga que es la que me acompañaría a llevar está pequeña ofrenda a la iglesia.
Although my life has been a bit chaotic these past few weeks, I was able to keep my promise and make a beautiful cake, simple but above all filled with love and gratitude. As I left the house, I took this photo to send to my best friend, who would accompany me to take this small offering to church.
Al llegar al Valle fuimos caminando hasta la iglesia y mientras caminamos vimos algunos puestos donde vendían camisas con la virgen del valle, lo que siempre amo es ver los pequeños puestos donde venden bisutería, siempre quiero comprar todo.
When we arrived at the Valle, we walked to the church, and while we were walking, we saw some stalls selling shirts with the Virgin of the Valley on them. What I always love is seeing the little stalls selling jewelry. I always want to buy everything.
Al llegar a la iglesia la misa ya había comenzado y además había una gran fila para entrar, yo iba con mi amiga y le di que aguantará la torta y se pusiera por dónde había un poco de sombra mientras yo había un rato la fila para poder entrar.
When we arrived at the church, the mass had already started and there was also a long line to get in. I was with my friend and I told her to hold the cake and stand where there was a little shade while I waited in line for a while to get in.
Cuando la fila empezó a avanzar mi amiga se puso justo a mi lado, sacamos la torta de la caja para poder tomar algunas fotos. Además de la torta yo había pedido una camisa hace algún tiempo que desde que la ví me encantó y fui muy feliz por poder comprarla.
When the line started moving, my friend stood right next to me, and we took the cake out of the box so we could take some photos. In addition to the cake, I had ordered a shirt some time ago that I loved from the moment I saw it, and I was so happy to be able to buy it.
Finalmente luego de casi una hora pudimos entrar a la iglesia y yo la verdad estaba un poco abrumada pero feliz de poder estar dentro de la iglesia, creo que cuando pasamos por momentos difíciles este es mi lugar de paz y hoy poder dar gracias porque todo está mejorando es algo maravilloso.
Finally, after almost an hour, we were able to enter the church, and I was honestly a little overwhelmed, but happy to be inside. I think that when we go through difficult times, this is my place of peace, and today, being able to give thanks because everything is getting better is wonderful.
Y finalmente estuve frente a la virgen con mi pequeña promesa, pero llena de tanto agradecimiento. Yo siempre que puedo voy a estar iglesia, y me pareció tan lindo hacer está pequeña ofrenda. Recuerdo que el año pasado no me tomé una foto así con la torta así que este año poder haberme tomado esta foto me pareció muy lindo. Mi mayor deseo y petición es que mi mamá mejore y su salud sea reestablecida.
And finally, I stood before the Virgin with my small promise, but filled with so much gratitude. I go to church whenever I can, and it seemed so lovely to make this small offering. I remember that last year I didn't take a photo like this with the cake, so being able to take this photo this year seemed so lovely. My greatest wish and request is for my mom to get better and for her health to be restored.
Amiga gracias por siempre acompañarme en todo, sabes que eres especial y más que una amiga eres una hermana. Así como pido por la salud de mi mamá pido a la virgen de nuestra amistad sea así siempre. Gracias por ser tan especial en mi vida. Luego de tomar unas fotos fuimos con una de las chicas que trabaja en la iglesia para ella guardar la torta.
Friend, thank you for always being there for me in everything. You know you're special, and more than a friend, you're a sister. Just as I pray for my mother's health, I pray to the Virgin Mary that our friendship may always be so. Thank you for being so special in my life. After taking some photos, we went with one of the girls who works at the church to store the cake.
