Y es que últimamente son tantas las cosas que debo hacer diariamente y este día me tocó ir al centro de la isla pues debía comprar algunas cosas para una torta, necesitaba un forro para mí celular. Debía comprar medicinas para mi mamá y comprar algunos vegetales que se había acabado. Así que aproveche de hacer todo esto. Mi mamá ha estado bastante enferma entonces cada que voy a salir alguien se debe quedar con ella por si se siente mal o se marea.
Good evening, Daily Blog friends. Today I want to show you a little bit about my day. There are so many things I have to do every day lately, and today I had to go downtown because I had to buy some things for a cake and a case for my cell phone. I had to buy medicine for my mom and some vegetables because she had run out. So I took advantage of the opportunity to do all of this. My mom has been pretty sick, so whenever I go out, someone has to stay with her in case she feels sick or gets dizzy.
Como me levanto temprano me fui bastante temprano al centro y las tiendas recién comenzaban a abrir al primer lugar que fui, fue a la tienda de repostería y compré material prima que necesitaba para una torta.
Since I get up early, I went downtown pretty early and the stores were just starting to open. The first place I went to was the pastry shop and bought the raw materials I needed for a cake.
Justo al lado de la tienda de repostería hay una tienda donde venden forros y vidrios para celulares. Yo compré un forro que necesitaba para proteger mi celular y también pregunté por un vidrio que necesito para la pantalla de mi celular pero no tenía para comprarlo pero ya luego lo compraré.
Right next to the bakery is a store that sells cell phone cases and glass. I bought a case I needed to protect my phone, and I also asked about a glass screen protector I needed, but I didn't have the money to buy it. I'll get it later.
Luego fui a la farmacia ya que debía comprar la pastilla que toma mi mamá para su diabetes, también debía comprar una pastilla que le enviaron para los gases y también necesitaba una crema para calmar el dolor y es que como últimamente pasa tanto tiempo acostada le está doliendo mucho el cuerpo.
Then I went to the pharmacy because I had to buy the pill my mom takes for her diabetes, I also had to buy a pill they sent her for gas, and I also needed a cream to relieve the pain. Since she's been spending so much time lying down lately, her body is hurting a lot.
Seguí caminando por el centro y en un puesto ambulante compré un aguacate y luego entre a un chino y compré una lámpara para colocarla en el frente de la casa y algunas bolsas de basura.
I continued walking through the center and bought an avocado at a street stall. Then I went into a Chinese store and bought a lamp to put in front of the house and some garbage bags.
Pase también por un supermercado y es que tenía que hacerle el favor a mi hermana de comprarle pañales para el niño y en este lugar encontré a muy buen precio la leche que últimamente está tomando mi mamá y es que con la dieta tan estricta que tiene debe tomar leche descremada y deslactosada y en este lugar la encontré a muy buen precio.
I also stopped by a supermarket because I had to do my sister a favor and buy her some diapers for the baby. I found the milk my mom has been drinking lately at a very good price. Because with her strict diet, she has to drink skim and lactose-free milk. I found it at a very good price there.
Luego me fui a otro supermercado a comprar los vegetales que necesitaba y es que la mayoría de las comidas de mi mamá deben incluir bastantes vegetales y también necesitaba comprar guayabas y es que me dijeron que el jugo de guayaba y pimentón la ayudaría mucho a subir su hemoglobina así que compre lo que necesitaba en casa. Y cuando fui a pagar me di cuenta que no tenía todo el dinero y entonces decidí usar por primera vez cashea. Luego se comprar me di cuenta que tenía muchas bolsas.
Then I went to another supermarket to buy the vegetables I needed. Most of my mom's meals should include plenty of vegetables. I also needed to buy guavas. Aún con todas esas bolsas tuve que caminar a otra tienda pues necesitaba comprar fresas para una torta. El dueño de la tienda me estaba eligiendo las fresas ya que le dije que necesitaba unas fresas lindas para una torta.
Even with all those bags, I had to walk to another store because I needed to buy strawberries for a cake. The store owner was choosing the strawberries for me because I told him I needed some nice strawberries for a cake.
Tenía muchas bolsas así que tuve que pagar dos pasajes para ir un poco más cómoda. Últimamente en mis días debo hacer muchas cosas, pero siento que poco a poco me voy acostumbrando a esta nueva rutina un poco más movida.
I had a lot of bags, so I had to pay for two tickets to travel a little more comfortably. I've had a lot of things to do lately, but I feel like I'm slowly getting used to this new, slightly busier routine.
