Feliz noche amigos de Daily Blog, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes que el jueves fuimos a la clínica con mi mamá. Necesitábamos hacerle exámenes de sangre, un rayos x de tórax y tenía que verla el cardiólogo para hacerle un examen cardiovascular y ver si estaba en condiciones para poder sedarla y hacerle la gastrocopia y colonoscopia.
Good evening, Daily Blog friends. Today I want to share with you that my mom and I went to the clinic on Thursday. We needed to run blood tests, a chest X-ray, and she needed to see the cardiologist for a cardiovascular exam to see if she was fit enough to be sedated for the gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
Al llegar a la clínica lo primero que hicimos fue ir al laboratorio ya que necesitábamos los exámenes de sangre y estos demoran dos horas en estar listos. Las chicas del laboratorio ya la conocen y al verla le dijeron que la veían un poco mejor y estuvieron hablando bastante con ella ya que últimamente está bastante deprimida.
When we arrived at the clinic, the first thing we did was go to the lab because we needed blood tests, which take two hours to complete. The lab staff already knew her, and when they saw her, they told her she looked a little better and they talked to her a lot, since she's been feeling quite depressed lately.
Luego de que le sacamos la sangre fuimos a otra área de la clínica para pagar la placa de tórax, al pagar la hicieron pasar y que se quitará la ropa para tomar la placa.
After we drew her blood, we went to another area of the clinic to pay for the chest X-ray. Upon paying, they made her come in and take off her clothes for the X-ray.
Luego de hacer los exámenes de sangre y la placa de tórax nos sentamos en el cafetín de la clínica pues había que esperar que llegara el doctor y adentro hacia mucho frío, aunque últimamente mi mamá no es la persona más sonriente le dije que sonriera para tomarle una foto.
After the blood tests and chest X-ray, we sat in the clinic cafeteria because we had to wait for the doctor to arrive and it was very cold inside. Although my mom hasn't been the most smiley person lately, I told her to smile so I could take a picture.
Al pasar a la cita con el cardiólogo los exámenes de sangre salieron bien y el rayos x también salió bien. Y estábamos muy contenta porq todo va mejorando.
When we went to the cardiologist's appointment, the blood tests and the X-rays came back clear. We were very happy because everything was getting better.
Pero a la hora de hacerle el electrocardiograma salió que tiene mucha arritmia cardíaca y así no la pueden sedar y no le pueden hacer la gastrocopia y colonoscopia. El doctor le envío un tratamiento por 3 semanas, pero en estás 3 semanas no nos podemos descuidar con su hemoglobina.
But when the electrocardiogram was performed, it showed that she had severe cardiac arrhythmia, and they couldn't sedate her and perform the gastroscopy and colonoscopy. The doctor prescribed a three-week course of treatment, but during those three weeks, we can't neglect her hemoglobin.
