Feliz noche amigos de @hivemargarita hoy quiero compartir en esta hermosa comunidad un poco de lo que fue el dĂa de ayer, un dĂa lleno de mucha fĂ© y muy especial para los que vivimos en la isla de Margarita y es que ayer celebramos el dĂa de la Virgen Del Valle y con mi hermana y mi sobrino nos fuimos hasta el Valle para ver más de cerca a la virgen. Como dice el titulo de este post un pueblo lleno de fe, que bonito presenciar todo esto.
Happy night, friends of @hivemargarita. Today I want to share with this beautiful community a little bit of what yesterday was like. A day filled with faith and very special for those of us who live on Margarita Island. Yesterday, we celebrated the day of the Virgin del Valle, and my sister and nephew and I went to the Valle to see the Virgin up close. As the title of this post says, a town full of faith. How beautiful to witness all of this.
AsĂ que nos arreglamos y nos fuimos en un carro que nos dejĂł en la entrada del valle, bueno uno de las entradas ya que hay dos.
So we got ready and went in a car that dropped us off at the entrance to the Valle, well, one of the entrances since there are two.
Por la entrada que nos quedamos no pasan los autobuses pero si hay mucha gente bajando de la iglesia y mucha otra subiendo y es algo que nos parece lindo asà que fuimos caminando y mientras caminamos nos regalaron agua, ya que si en calor y el sol estaban muy sofocante. Últimamente el sol está mucho más fuerte.
Buses don't pass through the entrance we stayed at, but there are lots of people coming down from the church and lots more going up, and we thought it was nice, so we walked along. As we walked, they gave us water, since it was really hot and the sun was stifling. The sun has been getting much stronger lately.
Y mientras caminabamos podĂamos ver en la mayorĂa de las casas los altares de la virgen decorados y esto me parece tan lindo. Ver el amor tan grande que hay por la virgen.
And as we walked, we could see the decorated altars of the Virgin in most of the houses, and I find this so beautiful. Seeing the great love there is for the Virgin.
Mientras Ăbamos caminado encontramos un puesto que vendĂa paletas asĂ que nos compramos unas para refrescarnos un poco. Mi sobrinito ama el color rojo y las paletas de fresas asĂ que por supuesto pedimos paletas de fresas y estaban deliciosas, ya nos faltaba poco para llegar a la iglesia.
As we walked, we found a stand selling popsicles, so we bought some to cool off a bit. My nephew loves the color red and strawberry popsicles, so of course we ordered strawberry popsicles, and they were delicious. We were almost at the church.
Y finalmente llegamos a la iglesia cabe destacar que habĂa muchĂsima gente, pero es algo que ya sabĂamos. Cuando llegamos le dije que debĂamos caminar a la iglesia porque querĂamos entrar y ver a la virgen y sabemos que para poder entrar a la iglesia la fila es muy larga.
And finally, we arrived at the church. It's worth noting that there were a lot of people, but we already knew that. When we arrived, I told him we had to walk to the church because we wanted to go in and see the Virgin, and we know that the line to get in is very long.
Y como ya lo sabĂamos tenĂamos que hacer una fila muy larga, pero estuve jugando con mi sobrino y hablando con las personas que estaban en la fila. Creo que para el prĂłximo año debemos llevar un paraguas que nos ayude a no llevar tanto sol y mientras estábamos en esta fila nos retocamos el protector solar pero aĂşn asĂ nos quemamos un poco.
And as we already knew, we had to wait in a very long line, but I played with my nephew and talked to the people in line. I think next year we should bring an umbrella to help us avoid the sun, and while we were in this line, we reapplied our sunscreen, but we still got a little burned.
HabĂa muchas flores hermosas, luego de la espera bajo el sol finalmente pudimos entrar a la iglesia, y yo habĂa ido el dĂa anterior a llevarle una ofrenda a la virgen pero aĂşn asĂ quise ir el este 8 de septiembre y verla nuevamente.
There were many beautiful flowers, after waiting in the sun we were finally able to enter the church, and I had gone the day before to bring an offering to the Virgin but I still wanted to go on September 8th and see her again.
Puede que tardemos mucho en entrar a la iglesia pero al entrar la visita debe ser breve ya que hay muchas personas esperando por entrar. Pero todo vale la pena asĂ sea por una visita breve. Yo por supuesto agradecĂ por mi vida, mi familia y todas las personas maravillosas que forman mi vida y especialmente por la salud de mi mamá. Pedi por mi negocio y porque mi vida mejore. Se que esto es algo por lo cual debo trabajar dĂa a dĂa pero si tengo un poco de ayuda tambiĂ©n es bien recibida.
It may take us a while to enter the church, but once we do, the visit should be brief since there are many people waiting to get in. But it's all worth it, even for a brief visit. Of course, I gave thanks for my life, my family, and all the wonderful people in my life, especially for my mom's health. I prayed for my business and for my life to improve. I know this is something I must work toward every day, but any help I can get is also greatly appreciated.
Al salir de la iglesia me tomé unas fotos con mi hermana y mi sobrino, agradecida de poder haber ido con ellos y espero poder seguir yendo por muchos años más.
As I left the church, I took some photos with my sister and nephew. I was grateful to have been able to go with them, and I hope to continue going for many more years.
Luego nos fuimos hasta la plaza que está justo en frente de la iglesia y habĂa un castillo inflable donde mi sobrino disfruto mucho y nosotras somos tan felices de verlo feliz a el y yo tambiĂ©n aproveche de comprarme un postre. Fue un dĂa hermoso y lleno de fe y amor por la Virgen Del Valle.
Then we went to the plaza right in front of the church, where there was a bouncy castle where my nephew had a great time. We were so happy to see him happy, and I also took the opportunity to buy myself a dessert. It was a beautiful day, full of faith and love for Our Lady of the Valley.
