Aktuell handelt der traditionelle Wertspeicher bei 4.255 US-Dollar pro Unze, ein Kursanstieg von 55 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahr. Doch eine neue Studie von BISON, der Krypto-Plattform von Börse Stuttgart Digital, enthüllt eine erstaunliche Präferenz unter deutschen Investoren. “Trotz seiner teils starken Kursschwankungen hat sich Bitcoin bei Anlegern unter 40 als feste Größe in der Vermögensanlage etabliert”, heißt es in der BTC-ECHO vorliegenden Pressemitteilung.
“In der Altersgruppe der 18-29-Jährigen investiert bereits fast jeder Vierte (24,1 Prozent) in Kryptowährungen”, aber nur jeder Fünfte (21,8 Prozent) in klassische Edelmetalle wie Gold. Noch deutlicher ist die Präferenz bei den 30-39-Jährigen, weil 27,2 Prozent der in Anlageprodukte investierten Befragten auf Kryptowährungen, aber nur 23,7 Prozent auf Edelmetalle setzen. Erst ab der Alterskohorte der 50-59 Jährigen gewinnen Gold und Silber wieder an Dominanz.
Darüber hinaus enthüllt die Studie, “dass 50 Prozent der unter 35-Jährigen, die bereits investiert sind, angeben, sich bei Investmentfragen von KI unterstützen zu lassen.” Das verdeutliche, dass der digitale Wandel auch in der Finanzbildung angekommen sei.

However, a new study by BISON, the crypto platform of Börse Stuttgart Digital, reveals a surprising preference among German investors. "Despite its sometimes significant price fluctuations, Bitcoin has established itself as a key asset for investors under 40," according to the press release obtained by BTC-ECHO.

My personal conclusion:
Young investors prefer to buy Bitcoin rather than gold because you can't store gold on your phone, hype it up on Reddit, or depict it in a meme with laser eyes – besides, gold doesn't glow in the dark as brightly as your wallet when the price skyrockets?
