Ripple hat bekannt gegeben, dass sein an den US-Dollar gekoppelter Stablecoin RLUSD weniger als ein Jahr nach seiner Einführung in die Top zehn der USD-Stablecoins aufgestiegen ist. Der im Dezember 2024 gestartete Token erreichte Anfang November eine Marktkapitalisierung von über einer Milliarde US-Dollar.
In einem X-Post erklärte Ripple, dass die Integration von Ripple Prime, GTreasury und Rail die Expansion von RLUSD beschleunigen und eine schnellere, regelkonforme globale Abwicklung ermöglichen werde.
“So gestalten wir die Zukunft des Finanzwesens”, schrieb das Unternehmen.
Mit einem täglichen Handelsvolumen von rund 174 Millionen US-Dollar liegt er auf einem Niveau mit PayPal USD (PYUSD) und Dai (DAI). Er bleibt jedoch deutlich hinter den Marktführern Tether (USDT) mit rund 183 Milliarden US-Dollar und Circle (USDC) mit etwa 75 Milliarden US-Dollar zurück.

Meine persönliches Fazit:
Eine wachsende Nutzung von Stablecoins auf einer Blockchain ist grundsätzlich positiv zu bewerten. Sie signalisiert steigende Aktivität, Vertrauen und Liquidität innerhalb des Netzwerks. Je höher das Stablecoin-Volumen, desto stärker die Fundamentaldaten – und desto bullisher wirkt sich dies langfristig auf den nativen Coin der jeweiligen Blockchain aus.
Die Nutzung des Hive Dollars (HBD) stellt einen zentralen Indikator für die wirtschaftliche Aktivität innerhalb der Hive-Blockchain dar. Eine höhere Stablecoin-Zirkulation signalisiert nicht nur Vertrauen in die Stabilität des Systems, sondern fördert auch Liquidität und On-Chain-Transaktionen. Sollte die Hive-Community den HBD aktiver einsetzen – sei es für Zahlungen, Sparfunktionen oder interne Marktplätze – könnte dies zu einer gesteigerten Netzwerknachfrage führen. Langfristig würde eine stärkere HBD-Nutzung somit potenziell auch die Fundamentaldaten des Hive-Tokens stützen und den aktuellen Abwärtstrend abmildern.

Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD has reached a market capitalization of over one billion US dollars in less than a year.
Ripple has announced that its US dollar-pegged stablecoin RLUSD has risen into the top ten USD stablecoins less than a year after its launch. Launched in December 2024, the token reached a market capitalization of over one billion US dollars in early November.
In an X-Post, Ripple explained that the integration of Ripple Prime, GTreasury, and Rail will accelerate the expansion of RLUSD and enable faster, compliant global settlement.
“This is how we are shaping the future of finance,” the company wrote.
With a daily trading volume of around $174 million, it is on par with PayPal USD (PYUSD) and Dai (DAI). However, it remains significantly behind market leaders Tether (USDT) with around $183 billion and Circle (USDC) with approximately $75 billion.

My personal conclusion:
The increasing use of stablecoins on a blockchain is generally a positive sign. It signals rising activity, trust, and liquidity within the network. The higher the stablecoin volume, the stronger the fundamentals—and the more bullish this is in the long term for the native coin of the respective blockchain.
The use of the Hive Dollar (HBD) is a key indicator of economic activity within the Hive blockchain. Higher stablecoin circulation not only signals confidence in the system's stability but also promotes liquidity and on-chain transactions. Should the Hive community use HBD more actively—whether for payments, savings, or internal marketplaces—this could lead to increased network demand. In the long term, greater HBD usage would thus potentially support the fundamentals of the Hive token and mitigate the current downward trend.
