# I love how these turned out ![break.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/derangedvisions/vwHWzYfb-break.png) When I was camping, I took some time to take some pictures of the ducks that were swimming around in the calm morning waters of the lake. ![pictures-2453.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/derangedvisions/23w2mSD3SdrTRgqwfpF7UdXKVBQrTnXDy6dnsBbqUan3998gzLg3oPBC6w7z8MgMiTjo5.jpg) The lighting was perfect and the calm water made really cool reflections of the ducks as they swam. ![pictures-2454.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/derangedvisions/23tbq2kjTSuAtu3zwvxYUcYGSq6qh9BLqkwS6pcxfoTMv3hm4ujyMvzQg5ccVbB2ygPsM.jpg) I had my Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 lens for these shots. I wish I had a teleconverter to put on my lens to double the distance that it shoots, but I guess that will be a later time when I get that. It would be fun to mess around with shooting macro and using a teleconverter. ![pictures-2456.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/derangedvisions/23tmDmaFeGeRSYKZhxKppBgMdJA2Qs89BBh7B4tsy7BofssZmBLCUbfJ8xXRTx9qncBPx.jpg) If I had a 2x teleconverter on my lens, these pictures would be a lot closer and would be equivalent to shooting with a 140-400mm lens. ![pictures-2461.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/derangedvisions/23tbR7bXZeWYod5xq76nzAJCekkSu1dh5MdGSsSbdFecNwU9qPniJiBZPY3FrC1t8jVA8.jpg) It was fun watching the ducks dive down into the water and scoop something up from the bottoms to eat. ![pictures-2462.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/derangedvisions/23tbRLXcY5N8TbBTu18VQnn6UfdGzkUV7B8X93VYNXXFfD3VyeHT18b7SyuPMrN6vZgoT.jpg) Not really sure what it was that they were eating. Looks a bit like worms or some squid type stuff, but squid doesn't make sense for where we were, so I have no idea what it was chomping on. ![pictures-2471.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/derangedvisions/23tbnXmSr89GkkEXTS7Wqdbr1ceSyLZfjibdkUqcZgnCLM7gmEZ6EjL5MscMpsxj5ZNTV.jpg) I'll end with this shot I got of the duck diving under the water to get something to eat. I thought it was really cool how the reflection and the water looked as it was entering the water. I hope you enjoyed these images of ducks. Wildlife is so fun to take pictures of. I hope that I can get out and do it more.
