Greeting Summoners

Another week, another new Splinterlands post here. I often make Splinterlands post in the weekend, but this time is a bit different. It's right in the middle of weekdays. I have some idea and by luck I just got a battle that I want to talk about.

I want to share some experience about a battle. Usually a great battle is when we can win with a very thin margin, or maybe a massive rumble that a RNG gives us a win. Or maybe we come with a weird meta that somehow countered our opponent great meta.

It is all about winning, right? So today I want to share something opposite of a win. Yes, it's a lost or losing badly. I want to share something that is the worst, the worst lost you could have.

So how you define the worst lost anyway? For me it is simple, it is a lost that your team could not do anything. Anything which I mean... they just stand still there and die. They don't attack, they don't dodget, and they even don't have any chance to make any move.

Is there a battle like that? Well winning greatly without losing a unit or winning without getting injured are very hard to get, but once a while you will have this kind of win, that is not your great win but the worst lost for your opponent... The no move LOST

This is the battle, in a glance this is not a great one regarding I have a level advantage. If I win, I should be winning due to level difference... However that's not the case. Ok let see the ruleset first.

Big mana cap, Melee unit only and an explosive weaponry ruleset. This should be a blast party, we can expect big melee units having some slugfest and the blast damage would be awesome.

However only my opponent did that. He had two strong melee units while my team had only Drybond Megalodon as the big melee tank. Honestly I am intimidated with their tank..

This Dragon is hard to type his name... Zyrx The Emberglace, what a joke. This guy is so Over Powered. However I will show you guys that this battle is the Worst Defeated they could get.

The First Move

The First Unit who made move was Molten Elemental. My Nidhoggr buffed two speed of his, that made him move first and delivered a melee attack and a range attack.

The blast damaged their KEI badly and triggered Molten Elemental Execute ability that was given by Nidhoggr. As you can see above, Molten Elemental chased KEI back, this was the hidden key how dangerous Execute ability was, because it would make your unit hunted damaged unit from the blast damage too.

Kei and Night Stalker died from this attack.

The Second Move

The second unit was Dragon Egg Forager. He hit Fenmor Haunt, however his 2 melee damage did not kill that target.

However my Dragon Egg Forager had an execute ability too, given by the Nidhoggr. So he made another attempt and killed that Fenmor Haunt

The Third and The Last

Now the third and the last move, it's my Drybone Megalodon

He had an execute ability too, so this would be the end for my opponent team.

Booomm!!! Guess what, my Drybone Megalodon aimed their Gramel The Hunger who sat behind. Well both of them died and that closed this battle.

So that's not a great win for me, but definitely the worst defeat or the wosrt lost my opponent could have. Sometime delivering the worst defeat is more exciting than winning greatly lol.

ok you might think that my opponent made a grave mistake, which their Nidhoggr should give the speed and execute over the blast. Yes it is true, that's their mistake because this battle is already have an explosive weaponry ruleset, an extra blast ability doesn't give anything because that is not stackable.

However the main clue here is the Execute Ability. Many of us playing Splinterlands for months without noticing that Execute would aim the blast damage target too. So during explosive weaponry ruleset, or you just add blast ability to a unit who have execute, or giving execute ability to a unit who have blast ability, it's a superb ability combo.

Your unit would be triggered to make an extra move to kill nearby blasted unit. That's the key I want to share in this post, but forgive me I won't write it on my title, it's a thing I share only to people who read my post.

Ok that's for today post. Feel free to leave your feedback below, and Thank you for your visit here. See you in Splinterlands Battles!!!
