Dear friends, today I want to show you my drawing and fan art of one of the microphones from our favorite game, Rising Star. It's the BGF04 microphone, which belongs to the i288 card. As you can see on the cover, this is a wireless microphone. It has a fairly modern design, different from the usual one we're all familiar with. I, for one, really like its design; in fact, that's why I chose it for my drawing today.
In real life, the advantages of a microphone like this are many. For example, being wireless gives the singer more freedom on stage and allows them to move around. Wired ones are often a burden because the singer can get tangled up in it. I've seen this happen a few times on social media.
So, I'm going to show you how I made the drawing. I started by doing the most basic thing, which is always my first step: the classic frame. You could say this is the frame of the painting 😅.
With that ready, I moved on to the next step, where I began drawing the microphone itself. I started at the top. I drew a straight line that would then curve downward. At one end, I also drew a straight line as a guide. Then I did the same thing from the bottom, and with that, I formed the shape of the microphone.
As you can see, we only have that empty tube, so in the next step, I added several details to make it more realistic. At the top, for example, I added some grids, which are what capture audio in real life. And at each end, I drew two lines so it looked exactly like the guide card.
Now for the fun part: drawing all this. I'll tell you right away that most of the colors I used were inspired by the original card. As you can see, I painted the frame a deep blue, then the inside a lighter shade. The background was blue-green. As for the microphone, I painted its body first, then the grilles. If you look closely at the grilles, I used the red color shown on the original card. And for the audio pickup area, I used a combination of grays to give the metallic effect.
