Colleagues, I'm happy to be here with you at Buskeria on a new day full of energy. I'm sending you all good vibes and hope you have a great time. The reason for this post is to show you my most recent drawing of one of the cards from the Rising Star game, a game full of wonderful cards. The one I painted today is i148 Bansuri. This card belongs to the instruments section, in the common cards category.
The instrument on the card represents a flute. It's a very pretty flute, and its colors remind me of Indian flutes for some reason. It looks like those flutes they use in that country to lift snakes out of baskets and hypnotize them. But don't take too much notice of me, ๐ it's just an idea that came to mind when I saw the design and colors. Ready to see how I painted it? Well, first, I made the frame for the card. It consists of two simple parts. I'll show you how it turned out.
In the next stage, I worked on designing the flute. First, I made the upper body and then the lower one. When I joined the two parts, I thought the resulting shape was hilarious; it resembles a battle spear. Well, I imagine that in a war, you'd grab whatever was on hand if you're a musician. ๐ Don't worry, it's just a joke. Peace be with you all. I'll leave you two screenshots so you can see how the finished silhouette's body turned out.
Now comes an important step because this is where I added all the details to the flute. For example, I made the air inlet and outlet holes. I also made the different sections of the flute, dividing them with lines. I was really happy with the final result. Did you like it?
Now I'll leave you with several screenshots so you can observe the painting process, one of the most fun in this post.
As you can see, I used several effects, including solid, pure colors and some with gradients. I also used my classic spray effect for the black inner frame and the blue part. And that's it, friends. Finally, I added the name of the game and the name of the card. I hope you liked the drawing. See you next time.
