Colleagues, it's great to meet you and be here in the most beautiful hive community. My intention today is to show you my most recent drawing. I'm telling you that in this case, I've dedicated it to a letter from the instruments section. I'm sure you already know which one it is from the cover of this post. Yes, it's a new microphone: the i209 Karaoke Green.
As you can see, it's a very pretty green microphone. It has a classic 2000s style. I suppose it's a microphone that, in real life, would be connected via a cable to the audio regulator. Wireless microphones usually have a small device at the bottom for signal reception.
Okay, but I'm sure you didn't come here just to talk about microphones 😅. I'm sure you want to see how I painted this drawing, and that's my intention. I'll show it to you below. As usual, I started by making the frame for the letter. It turned out as follows.
With that part ready, it was easier for me to continue working on the drawing because the frame helps me delimit the area to be drawn. And that helps me better design the size scale for the instrument in the center of the card. Then I made the microphone, although at this stage I only drew the main silhouette.
In this next step, I finished creating the microphone. It was here that I added the main details, such as the lines dividing each section. This helps me paint correctly in those areas and, of course, gives more body to the silhouette of the microphone, otherwise it would look too simple and flat.
Now I'm going to show you the drawing process. As you'll see below, this is how I painted each part. I can't say it enough, it was the most fun part, and I'm sure it was for you too, since at this point the drawing comes alive and is no longer just black lines.
