It's a pleasure to be here with you again, colleagues. I'm happy to be able to show you a new drawing I've made. In this case, I've drawn a very beautiful new instrument. It's a wooden flute. You can find this flute on card i272, Tenor Recorder. I'd like to tell you that this card belongs to the common cards section under instruments.
This particular flute, in real life, is played from the side, similar to the metal flutes used by professionals in the music world. I found this interesting because most wooden flutes I've seen are played through a mouthpiece at the top.
Would you like to see how I drew and painted this drawing? I'm sure you would. As usual, I always start by making the frame of the card first. It's two squares, one inside the other, and a small notch to add the category at the bottom.
After that, I designed the body of the flute. First, I drew two guide lines. These helped me determine the width of the flute. With that in mind, I then created an idea of the shape I was going to give it and added some small barbs to the body and silhouette, which will be the edges of the finished flute. I'll show you the result.
Of course, I couldn't leave it like that. In the next step, I added the small dots that, in real life, would be used to control the flow of air outward. And with that, produce the sound and musical notes. I also marked the different parts of the flute. I also added the air intake mouthpiece at the top. It looked like this:
Now I moved on to the next step: painting everything. As you can see, I painted the frame first, then the interior parts, all the way to the flute. I used colors similar to those in the original letter.
And before I say goodbye, I'll show you the finished work. Here you can see how I added several details to the card. For example, its category at the bottom and the name of the game in bold letters. I also added the name of the card. So, did you like it? See you in the next drawing.
