After a while without participating in these weekend tournaments, I finally have time to play one of them. Not particularly my favorite, but one of the modes I'm most interested in improving: Chess 960.

This mode seems to me to be essentially the most complicated chess game ever. If Core Chess is already difficult, now imagine one where you have to change your strategy constantly. Just look at this game.

I consider this to be one of the calmest games of the tournament, where there were some exciting moments, but the interesting thing is that from the beginning there are imbalances everywhere. This is something that this mode has, which gives you sharp positions from the start.

Here I really had a difficult time with all the pawns blocking my pieces, but with time going down and some mistakes that She committed, and I was able to return to the top and win the game with a rather showy checkmate.

Other tough games that extended to the very end with options for both sides. One of my best endgames played in a long time occurred in this game, and I think I couldn't be more proud of myself. A good game and sharpened precision in my moves.

Other games where disaster was more than assured, given what I saw. A position I didn't feel too comfortable in, but unlike other games, I didn't know how to turn it around, and my opponent played good chess most of the time. A game that was going to hurt me quite a bit because I was in the high positions.

Although I was In second place, I wanted to get to first place no matter what, and I was going to have one more chance to do it, or at least try.

But it didn't work out for me. At least I didn't get in the groove to take advantage of the game, and most of my momentum went into the first moves. I lost the game but finished in second place, which I'm happy with. You can't win every day, but I feel like I played good chess at the end of the day.
