Bullet chess is certainly one of the most difficult games in chess, not only because we have to actively think of new strategies on the board to make our opponent fall, but also because we have a new rival or ally: the clock. It can be both your salvation and a treacherous friend that eats us up.
I've played as many bullet games this year as I've played classic face-to-face games in my entire life, which seems crazy to me and shows you the potential of this format for both training and developing visual acuity and understanding tactics.
Lots of pretty crazy positions to start with in each game, we almost couldn't keep up. Conventional openings. I think it's more fun this way and offers a new style of play. It makes me think outside the box, but some of these games are so crazy that there are all kinds of mates or combinations that end the game much sooner.
I lost several of these games due to last-minute mistakes. I think the clock is one of the most important factors to consider, and that's why I often take care not to invent too many things. Many of these times I end up winning due to an opponent's mistake. But anyway, very good games today.
