For a long time I have shared my ideas on social media, written reviews, and posted updates, especially in my area of interest, the financial market, all for free.
I was excited when I heard of a platform called HIVE from a friend, Happiness Oyama - @happexworld, where you earn just by posting and engaging with other people’s posts. “What better place could I share my ideas if not HIVE”, I thought. I am excited to be here, a place where I can share my thoughts, have fun, and be rewarded for it.
ABOUT DIEN MARVELOUS
I am a proud citizen of Nigeria, from Biase Local Government Area in Cross River State.
Dien Marvelous is a lover of God and a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
I am also a public speaker who loves to motivate people, especially young ones to become the best of themselves and to see the need to find and know God.
I currently work with Moniepoint as a Personal Relationship Manager (PRM). I am also a Crypto trader and Coach. CEO, Dien Vision, a platform that offers training and consultation services on Crypto trading.
I am also a Safety officer and Safety trainer. I have several certifications on safety including Basic HSE 1,2and 3, Survival at sea (SAS), Advanced HSE, Executive Diploma in Industrial Safety and Security Management. I also have practical experiences as a Safety officer, firefighter, and Safety Instructor.
I have trained and certified numerous students under Onshore and Offshore Safety Institute, Calabar branch, presently, I work part time as a trainer with International Onshore Offshore Safety Academy.
I love discipline and disciplined people. This is obviously because of my upbringing.
I grew up in an African setting, with African Parents that believe in the biblical injunction “spare the rod and spoil the child”. My mum never failed in administering the rod, what we call cane, or in Africa, “koboko” or “bulala”, in the correction of irresponsible behavior.
My dad on the other hand never used cane; his rod was in his mouth. If he scolds at you, you will prefer he used the cane instead. In the days of the display of foolishness, he had the perfect example of the “angry face of a loving father.”
You never misbehave in his presence without receiving the lashes of his angry but loving voice falling on you, at that moment you will wish the ground opened up and covered you or you vanished into thin air.
My dad wasn’t abusive though, he just loved discipline and that was the best way he could inculcate discipline.
These discipline from Mum and Dad made me the good and disciplined man I am today, though the experience wasn’t pleasant but I am happy they did.
My hobbies are Reading, trading Crypto Currency and teaching.
ABOUT MY FAMILY
I come from a family of 5 Children, 3 males and two females (Though one male is no more). I am the last child and last male of my Parent . My mum used to be a trader and farmer, she left the trading business to concentrate on farming. My Dad is a retired Principal. We are a one big happy family.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
I started my primary education at Beulah International Nursery and primary school, Boki L.G.A, Cross River State, Nigeria, however, I completed my primary education at Adiagha Obong International Nursery/Primary School, Akamkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria, where I got my First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).
I attended Hope Waddell Training Institution, Calabar, Cross River State, from 2006 to 2012, where I obtained my WAEC and NECO Certificates. At Hope Waddell, I became the Assistant School Prefect (ASP).
I obtained my ND (National Diploma) or A level Certificate from Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko, Benue State, Nigeria.
I furthered my education through direct entry into Cross River State University of Technology (CRUTECH) currently known as University of Cross River State (UniCross), where I obtained B.Eng, in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
As part of my Academic requirement for the award of degree in Electrical Engineering, I participated in the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme, with The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Abuja Region.
I have additional certification such as Basic Health, Safety and Environment (HSE 1,2 and 3), Survival at Sea (SAS), Advanced HSE from Onshore Offshore Safety Institute (OOSI), Executive Diploma in Industrial Safety and Security Management from Laplage Meta verse.
I observed my compulsory one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2023. I served in Jalingo, Taraba State.
During my service I served as the President/Chairman of The Nigeria Christian Corpets Fellowship (NCCF), Taraba State Chapter,
a position that saddled me with the responsibility of overseeing the affairs of all the Christian Corps members in the State. This role really sharpened my leadership skill.
During my tenure, I and my team of leaders embarked on several rural outreaches called Rural Rugged Outreach.
Rural Rugged Outreach is an event where Christian Corps members go to rural areas with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and with Relief materials and Medical aids.
CONCLUSION:
I believe that the level of transformation or growth of any man, nation or organisation is dependent on the level of information at their disposal, that is why I love sharing knowledge and connecting with others from whom I can obtain Knowledge.
It is popularly said that “your network determines your net worth”. I believe that HIVE is that platform where I can share and obtain Knowledge, it’s that place where I can also network with great minds and increase my net worth. Thank you.
