As the sun began to rise, and it was 9:00 a.m., I headed to a fishing village on the outskirts of the city. Kuala Meuraksa was my first time setting foot in a fishing village outside of Banda Sakti Island, the capital of Lhokseumawe.
This estuary leads directly to the Strait of Malacca, visible across from Banda Sakti Island, where I often photograph fishermen in the city center. This morning, I experienced a new atmosphere by visiting the fishing village in Kuala Meuraksa, Lhokseumawe.
The fishing boats appeared to have just returned from fishing, beginning to approach the estuary's edge. Here, they were returning home from fishing and unloading their catch at the Pusong Fish Market across the estuary. The mangroves surrounding the estuary created a unique atmosphere for photographing here.
I tried to capture some images and make them as entries in this Monomad Challenge. Hopefully these images will get support from friends in the Black and White community.
In this Monomad Challenge contest, I want to invite my friends to see some of Black and White photos caught by my camera; "Kuala Meuraksa", the pictures presented to my friends in Black and white Community ๐
