Forms and Reflections.
This is a particular post in which I have compiled some random shots in different neighborhoods of the city. I've left aside the photos of people on the street to share something that contains shapes, lines, I'm not sure if there is some geometry but there are definitely reflections and a lot of contrast. Taking advantage of the old and modern architecture in the neighborhood of San Nicolas and Puerto Madero I was able to get some interesting results.
Most of the photos have been taken at a distance of 300 mm with a Nikon telephoto lens.
We started with a couple of photos of the same glazed building in which I could get the reflection of the clouds.
From the side side I could capture another reflection of the ICBC Bank building.
Originally I took this photo horizontal, I cut it a bit and changed it vertically. My intention with this has been to highlight the lines of the building and the squares of the windows, I wanted something different.
I like this reflection very much, a building reflected in the glass of another. What I did here was to darken the edges and raise the lighting of the building to highlight it even more.
These are a kind of silos in Puerto Madero with words in allusion to feminism. I've always taken photos straight in front but this time I made it different, I just wanted columns, shapes...
"FOR SALE"
An apartment and office for sale in the San Nicolás neighborhood. Here I applied the same as in the photo of the white building reflected, obscuring the edges to highlight only that point.
Another example of the lines and shapes in one of the brick buildings in the Palermo area, in combination with some branches.
