Plaza de Mayo is undoubtedly one of my favorite places for street photography. It has so many appealing aspects: the urban design, the large historic buildings, and the history behind this open space. The Casa Rosada is one of the main attractions to consider because its structure and style attract both tourists and photographers. The flow of people in this square is very appealing for capturing scenes that fit this style of photography.
Today I decided to try something different in terms of editing. I usually prefer dark, cinematic-style photos, but today I wanted something retro. I was looking at photos of the city from the 1970s and wanted to do something similar, with lots of light and more vivid colors.

People walking on the square, deep down the Casa Rosada, the Argentine Flag and the Obelisk. It was a very cloudy day.

It's normal to see informal sellers in the square and around it. Most of them sell food and drinks.
I took the next photo through the bars that enclose the obelisk.

The Metropolitan Cathedral is another of the historical buildings with the most antiquity in the area, being part of the most emblematic 3 in this regard: the Casa Rosada, the Metropolitan Cathedral and Cabildo of Buenos Aires. Its huge columns and large dimensions make it very difficult to ignore when you reach the square. The interior is simply beautiful.
This photo was taken in the winter season, you can see those naked trees that allow the view towards the cathedral.

These reliefs are also fascinating, behind this you can see a small part of the dome of the cathedral.

Corner of Plaza de Mayo and Roque Sáenz Peña Avenue, in the background you can see one of the domes of the Benchich building. A couple of tourists were taking selfies in this wonderful area.
If you come to Buenos Aires this is a place that you cannot miss and I am sure you will enjoy it :)

That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
