Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you my classic song review to start the week with energy and this time I come with a theme that I know you will love not only music lovers but dance lovers as well because this band is crazy in every way. With a very vintage style but with pop, indie and alternative elements, plus some latin elements that give it a very tasty touch, coupled with a dance team with too much level and category, today's theme is about the band JUNGLE. So, without further ado, let's get started!

1.- Casio

I begin this review with the first HUGE SONG I knew of the mythical band, known by the name Casio, alluding to the brand of watches, musical keyboards, etc., where the lyrics represent something like the fact of having a person with whom you have a toxic relationship with someone and you cling to them because you think you are losing something deep but maybe you are really clinging to them out of nostalgia rather than love. In addition to the lyrics, the choreography stars Will West, a mythical dancer from “Commercial Dance and Urban Dance” who you will notice later in this review who basically became part of the band as if he was the face of the dance associated with the band, but looking up the history of said dancer he is not a person who works for the band per se, he has simply been called upon for a lot of choreography that gives a lot of style to the videos.

2.- Keep Moving

This song has a powerful message and also, I feel it is one of the best songs this band has created, for several reasons, the first thing is the lyrics, which invites you to keep moving despite anything that happens in life, if you are not able to understand it then you must let it go, because, otherwise, if you understand it then you can fix it. It doesn't matter if you have to move, start from scratch in a new place, you will always be able to cope with everything as long as you keep moving and this is valid for everything in life, not only painful events regarding jobs, houses but it can also be extrapolated towards interpersonal or sentimental relationships. The other epic thing here is that, if you can tell by watching the video, is that it is shot in sequence shot and I just talked last week about this shooting technique, being a technique that requires a lot of coordination and when it comes to choreography there are many things that must be synchronized and the artists here are of such an incredible category that they can create epic choreographies in any scenario and make us think that they are doing many things at once while the camera pans around. I love too much that the choreography has allusions to Michael Jackson, that will always make me feel too happy because basically MJ was the precursor of many moves in pop, urban and commercial dance, so those nods are always beautiful to see.

3.- Let's Go Back

This is Jungle's most recent song and I must say that it is a MASTERPIECE because it combines too many elements of 80's music with elements of music, it's as if the 80's musicians with jazz, blues and so on were born in this era but with that knowledge. The lyrics talk about how you want to go back to the beautiful moments with a person because you feel you need them too much, you want to go back in time to those moments where you felt happy with that person and definitely the sound despite being energetic and with a “happy” vibe is quite nostalgic. What I love the most about the video and the choreography, where you can see Will West again as the leader is that the concept is like they are all dancing as if they were mannequins, then the movements should be a little rough but without losing the essence, also, I love too much to see dancers of different type, style, races and so on doing those flashy movements, it makes it too hypnotizing, the song is very catchy and also the choreography is too good.

Bonus Track.- Heavy California

This was the second Jungle song I heard in my life, the lyrics I think it has to do with the fact of having love for a region that in this case would be the city of California, because although the lyrics seem to speak of a love for a person, I think it's more about the nostalgia of being away from the city. Will West's choreography here is beastly, to the point that I had to investigate how he can do these steps and I discovered that beyond being a great choreographer, he was always athletic and was dedicated to gymnastics and martial arts before learning to dance, so he has that flexibility and strength dancing that makes him stand out too much and of course do acrobatics like the one in this video as if it were super simple. Again there are some nods to Michael Jackson that make me happy and I feel that they make Jungle more than just music, I feel that this band is a genre made band, something like Guaco in Venezuela for example, you know it's them because they have elements that distinguish them too much.
