Un día de aprendizaje intenso, enfrentándome a nuevos retos rumbo a la carrera de Medicina Veterinaria [ES | EN]

¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo un post en @liketu para mostrarles algo que viví el día de hoy al formar parte de un par de talleres en el mismo lugar donde estoy haciendo mi curso de **Auxiliar Veterinario**; dichos talleres fueron de **Suturas** y **Primeros Auxilios** en animales pequeños. El primer taller fue increíble, nunca en mi vida había hecho suturas de ningún tipo y debo admitir que fue un reto, inclusive uno de los 4 tipos de suturas que nos enseñaron no me quedó muy bien estéticamente pero me dijeron que la técnica estuvo bien porque cumplió el cometido. Ese tipo de actividades no suele realizarla un auxiliar veterinario, generalmente las suturas las hacen ya los médicos veterinarios que realizan procedimientos quirúrgicos, sin embargo, la doctora que nos enseña nos está volviendo personas con conocimiento integral que nos servirá muchísimo más adelante cuando estemos adentrándonos en la carrera, me siento muy agradecido por eso. El taller de primeros auxilios fue espectacular porqeu ahora sé cómo resolver en situaciones de riesgo para mantener estable a perritos y gatos hasta llegar a un consultorio médico veterinario para salvarles la vida en situaciones complicadas que puedan incluso ser de vida o muerte. Cada clase que veo y cada información que recibo en este mundo me hace demasiado feliz y me hace crecer demasiado, además, me encanta el hecho de documentar todo aquí en mi blog de Hive, espero que disfruten las fotos.

Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you a post on @liketu to show you something I experienced today by being part of a couple of workshops in the same place where I am doing my **Veterinary Assistant** course; those workshops were **Sutures** and **First Aid** in small animals. The first workshop was amazing, I had never in my life done sutures of any kind and I must admit it was a challenge, even one of the 4 types of sutures that we were taught did not look very good aesthetically but I was told that the technique was good because it did the job. These types of activities are not usually performed by a veterinary assistant, usually the sutures are done by veterinarians who perform surgical procedures, however, the doctor who teaches us is making us people with comprehensive knowledge that will serve us a lot later when we are entering the career, I feel very grateful for that. The first aid workshop was spectacular because now I know how to resolve risky situations to keep dogs and cats stable until they get to a veterinarian's office to save their lives in complicated situations that may even be life-threatening. Every class I see and every information I receive in this world makes me too happy and makes me grow too much, besides, I love the fact of documenting everything here in my Hive blog, I hope you enjoy the pictures.
