Greetings, my dear friends. I hope you are well, and I wish you a happy Wednesday. This time, I bring you my impressions of the great character Shaina of Ophiuchus. I already talked about Marin earlier. Both are Silver Saints, which means that their loyalty is to the goddess Athena. She also wears a mask that makes her renounce her femininity and be treated as a male warrior. Seiya manages to break it, which causes her to develop a great hatred for him and want revenge.
As a side note, as the famous saying goes, this hatred ultimately turns into love, because if there is only one step from hatred to love, she began to feel something special and deep for Seiya, and the reason is because of his personality, his nobility, and his good heart.

I also want to mention something very important, which is that Shaina is the saint of Ophiuchus. In fact, she is the successor to Odysseus, the golden saint who previously held the same title for this constellation, so she is now the guardian. Her strength is compared to that of a man, and her coldness is a very marked aspect of her personality. This was particularly evident when she witnessed the defeat of her disciple Cassios in that battle with Seiya, where the Pegasus armor was at stake.
I think Shaina is a formidable warrior. She shows a lot of conviction, and I must confess that between her and Marin, Shaina is my favorite. In addition, her purpose is more interesting in my opinion. She developed a deep love for Seiya that she somehow hid, but she helped him a lot in battles where his life was at risk. Her most memorable technical skill for me was that claw; I loved it, and it made her look very tenacious. And although she, as a Silver Saint, has renounced her femininity in some way, it always remains and gives the impression that girls in this universe can be as good warriors as men.
