Greetings, movie and series lovers of this community! It's a pleasure to be here with you once again, sharing my honest impressions of a series or movie I've seen recently. I'm a big fan of these things, and I really enjoy making recommendations to get you excited. Today I want to talk to you about a very intense horror series. I'm sure many of you already know this story, as it was very famous when it hit the screens. It's “IT,” a horror and suspense movie that undoubtedly left us scared, but in a good way.
Of course, I'm not here to tell you about the movie, but rather about the new series that was released in 2025, called "IT: Welcome to Derry," which is the prequel to this terrifying and supernatural story. It has a very good cast, including some children who undoubtedly do a wonderful job, and I just hope they don't end up traumatized after making this series, which is one of the most intense in terms of horror and violence that I have seen. This being would drive anyone crazy.

I must say that I had seen that this series was going to be released, but for some reason I had forgotten about it. The truth is that I was looking forward to it, but this past month I've had a lot of worries, etc., which have made me disconnect from some things. Fortunately, I realized that the first episode had already been released, and I was happy because I love this type of series or movie. I must say that at first I thought it was almost the same as the previous ones, but I like the mystery and suspense that the series provides since they don't show you that being directly. I don't know if many people know this, but this clown takes many forms. He is a very calculating supernatural entity and knows well how to scare and blow the minds of his victims. I must congratulate the production team of this series because it left me speechless. What happened at the end of the episode was unpredictable, and I didn't see it coming.
There's a group of kids who look very similar to the ones in the movie, and that made me think it was going to be the same, but I was wrong about the ending. It has great special effects, really good and top-notch. This time, the prequel delves deeper into discovering and possessing that thing. The government couldn't think of anything smarter than trying to find a way to weaponize it against their enemies. I'm sure nothing good will come of this.
IT: Bienvenidos a Derry | Official Trailer
Derry hides many dark secrets. I feel that this series will answer many questions and mysteries, as this being is very dangerous and does not hesitate to do whatever he wants with his victims. It seems that there is no way to stop him. This second episode had many more revelations and a mega-dantesque scene that seems to be taken from the worst horror movie. Without a doubt, this series is not for everyone. It can make you feel sick and uncomfortable, and even more so if there are children around. I am looking forward to the next episodes, and of course, go see it. If you are a horror lover, you will undoubtedly love it.
