The Best of Discovery-it #1874

Hi there, welcome back to The Best of Discovery-it! All the best posts voted by the Discovery-it curator team will have their own dedicated space within the Hive blockchain. This digest intends to bring to light all those authors who often remain unnoticed and therefore reward all those who create quality posts, leading them to establish themselves on the platform. But that's not all!
After a careful selection, our curators will also choose the most deserving articles among all those voted to create a ranking of the Top posts of the day.
So who are today's winners?
Bocaditos de pan super ricos! //Super delicious bread bites!

[RETRATO/ PORTRAIT](/hive-158694/@franciscomarval/retrato-portrait)
by @franciscomarval
If you’re passionate about art, you shouldn’t miss this new portrait by franciscomarval. “The following artistic creation is a female portrait I created from a personal image. I took on this work as an interpretive challenge given that 80% of the reference image is in very poor condition. That is, the details are not clearly visible. The challenge in this painting was to create an imaginary projection of the face in question” the author told us.

[Where Bridge Meets Storm: Capturing the Calm Beneath a Looming Sky | PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography #132](/hive-153349/@wanderelle/where-bridge-meets-storm-capturing)
by @wanderelle
Today wanderelle shares with us a photo representing a famous bridge. “The long bridge that crosses a wide body of water connects two islands, with many tall buildings that rise toward the sky. The water has a cool, blue-green color that looks great against the grey buildings” the photographer told us.

Collecting stamps of Old Europe: August acquisitions
by @qwerrie
In this nice post qwerrie shows us an amazing selection of stamps from Old Europe. “Here you can see the first stamps of Czechoslovakia (created from the previously printed Austro-Hungarian Empire stamps), stamps of Austria-Hungary itself and a couple of modern Austria stamps; the first Polish stamps issues from 1921, the famous Third Reich Zeppelin series of stamps (I will definitely drop a separate blog on this subject someday)…” the author said.
