Hello , Hi , Namaste to all hive users reaching this post , hope you all are doing great. I know I am little bit late for posting about RAKSHABANDAN, which was yesterday ( or, may I say, day before yesterday). But still I wanted to share it you, how we celebrated rakshabandhan this year.

Rakshabandhan is celebrated to honor the bond of love and duty between brother and sister in INDIA. I woke up at 6:30 (approximately) , which is kind of unusual for me. Because for a few months, I have been sleeping late at night and waking up late ( as soon as my college will start , I will try to maintain my sleeping time surely) .

After doing some work , I got ready wearing a simple yellow kurti and went for buying some sweets . Don`t know when time passed and it was almost 11 am when I tied rakhi to my lil brother. Firstafall sisters apply tilak to his brother then do arti using a diya ( oil lamp) , then continue by tieing the rakhi . Then the younger one touches elders feet and finally shares giftes ( Mostly its seen that the brother gives gift to the sisters but sometimes its the reverse too 😄)

After few hours my mama (uncle ) also arrived from almora , after celebrating Rakhi early morning , he came to celebrate here . Many of you would be wondering that at almost everywhere the sister went to the brother's place to tie rakhi, but here it's vice versa . So, yes, from few years my mama comes to our place for Rakshabandhan ( Its because from many years my mother is unable to visit Almora on the occasion of rakshabandhan , thats why his brother (my mama ) do. )That's a really sweet gesture🤗.

I also tied Rakhi to few of my cousins and in the neighborhood, all other cousins do live in other cities. They are only so called cousins , cuzz we all have a great bond ❣️.

Almost at 3 pm, my grandfather's elder sister arrived for rakshabandhan, and this was almost after many years she arrived for rakhi. They both have a lovely bond. She is almost of 88 years and my grandfather is of 83 years . Though she is the elder one but she still doesn't call her brother with his name. She just says MERA BHAI 😊. I forgot to take a picture of them 🥲 . After they went home, we had our lunch.

And almost everyone of us were very tired 😴 , took a nap ( I took complete sleep for 2 hr 30 min 😂).

This of the Rakhi celebration 2025 , enjoyed a lot 🤩

Hope you liked it , Thank you for visiting 😁
