The practices among the Egyptians, Israelites, and early Christians was compared and we were able to see the cultural and spiritual meanings of these traditions. We can also see this same kind of devotion is seen in how Jesus Christ our Lord was buried. they wrapped his body in linen and anointed with myrrh and aloes, this relates to the customs of the jews, which shows the presence of sacredness when it come to caring for the deceased. we were also able to learn that these traditions relating to burial of the dead's shows faith , love , and dignity. Life should be honored that even in the dead , life is still being honored. This can be seen by the way the departed are treated with care and compassion.
