I had a small package to deliver in Dawlish this morning so I thought I’d have a run out on the e-bike.
It’s about an 18 mile round trip but very typical Devon ups and down most of it is country lanes if you don’t use the main road. Narrow enough that you have to stop for cars now and again.
For a change on the way back I turned off the coast road at Holcombe and went along the sea wall between Dawlish and Teignmouth for a breath of sea air rather than traffic fumes.
The views are great.
But I wasn’t expecting a trip back in time this was a surprise.
And a change for the usual modern stuff.
The route comes out along the sea front at Teignmouth so an obligatory ice cream stop is called for well it is the seaside after all .
The last stop along the way was at Combe Cellars a riverside pub along the way and a perfect way to replace some fluids 😄
So there you have it Hivers that’s how I spent my Saturday morning I hope yours was just as enjoyable.
