Visitando los Museos con los primos

Semanas atrás conté con la presencia de mi prima Sofia y su hijo Santiago en mi casa, ellos viven en el Tigre estado Anzoátegui y vinieron a pasar unos días con nosotros, lo cual fue propicio para llevarlos a conocer la Galería de Arte Nacional, el Museo de Bellas Artes y el Museo de Ciencia.
En lo personal a mí me gusta mucho realizar este circuito, me parece que los museos son una buena forma de conocer el mundo real más allá de lo que podamos ver por la pantalla de un celular o una computadora, porque en este mundo cada vez tan cibernético y sobresaturado de información hace falta conectar a los jóvenes con los orígenes, con la esencia de las cosas.
Es interesante ver el rostro de un joven cuando se encuentra de frente con el cuadro de Miranda en la carraca en gran formato ese que solo había observado en los libros de historias, ver la evolución de los teléfonos conociendo dispositivos que ni idea tenía que existieran o ver una jirafa de tamaño real de esas que solo había visto en los documentales de la tv, esas son las experiencias que formaran los recuerdos de ese joven, que le servirán de herramientas para comprender el mundo que lo rodea, porque si bien el internet es la mega autopista de la información, pero el internet es efímero no despierta emociones y es intangible por lo cual creo que los museos seguirán siendo un referente en la obtención de conocimientos por parte de los seres humanos.
Aunque sí creo que los museos deberían actualizarse en cuanto a la forma de presentar sus exposiciones, creo que se debería de apostar más por presentaciones interactivas e inmersivas que potencien la experiencia del visitante, que despierte la curiosidad y creatividad del visitante. Por ejemplo, yo recuerdo que en mi infancia del colegio nos llevaron al Museo de los Niños, y eso para mí fue una experiencia grandísima la cual aún recuerdo, sabes grabar un programa de tv, donde cada uno de nosotros asumió el roll de camarógrafo, presentador, sonidista, etc. y ver en una pantalla el resultado de lo que hicimos es el tipo de cosas que marcan a un niño.
Por otro lado, me gusta la manera en que la GAN está abriendo sus puertas a la diversidad y la periodicidad con la que renueva sus exposiciones, esto nos permite que cada visita que realicemos sea una experiencia nueva.
Y en cuanto a la exposición de telecomunicaciones en el Museo del Ciencias pues me causo nostalgia y me hizo sentir algo viejo jajaja, porque es increíble pero los que nacimos en los años 80 hemos sido testigos del rápido avance tecnológico de la humanidad, vimos televisión en blanco y negro, luego nos maravillamos con la era del color, para después tener acceso a canales de televisión de otros países que pasamos a disfrutar en televisores más delgados que un cuadro y que ahora se conectan al internet pero que en un futuro no muy lejano de seguro veremos desaparecer por los futuros proyectores holográficos y todo esto en menos de 60 años.
En conclusión, tuvimos una tarde diferente y ellos quedaron complacidos, y a ustedes no me queda otra cosa que invitarlos a visitar los museos de Caracas, desconectémonos de la gran red, nuestra ciudad tiene muy buenos planes para hacer estas vacaciones disfrutemos de nuestra ciudad.
Visiting the Museums with cousins

Weeks ago I had the presence of my cousin Sofia and her son Santiago in my house, they live in El Tigre, Anzoátegui state and came to spend a few days with us, which was conducive to take them to know the National Art Gallery, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Science.
Personally I really like to do this circuit, it seems to me that museums are a good way to know the real world beyond what we can see through the screen of a cell phone or a computer, because in this increasingly cybernetic world and oversaturated with information, it is necessary to connect young people with the origins, with the essence of things.
It is interesting to see the face of a young person when he comes face to face with the painting of Miranda in the ratchet in large format that he had only seen in history books, to see the evolution of telephones knowing devices that he had no idea existed or to see a giraffe of real size of those that he had only seen in TV documentaries, those are the experiences that will form the memories of that young man, that will serve as tools to understand the world around him, because although the internet is the mega highway of information, but the internet is ephemeral does not arouse emotions and is intangible so I think that museums will remain a reference in obtaining knowledge by human beings.
Although I do believe that museums should update the way they present their exhibitions, I think they should bet more on interactive and immersive presentations that enhance the visitor's experience, that awaken the curiosity and creativity of the visitor. For example, I remember that when I was a child at school we were taken to the Children's Museum, and that was a great experience for me which I still remember, you know how to record a TV program, where each of us assumed the role of cameraman, presenter, soundman, etc. and see on a screen the result of what we did is the kind of thing that marks a child.
On the other hand, I like the way in which the GAN is opening its doors to diversity and the periodicity with which it renews its exhibitions, this allows each visit to be a new experience.
And as for the telecommunications exhibition at the Science Museum, it caused me nostalgia and made me feel something old hahaha, because it's amazing but those of us who were born in the 80s have witnessed the rapid technological advancement of humanity, we saw black and white television, then we marveled at the era of color, then we had access to TV channels from other countries that we went on to enjoy on TV sets thinner than a painting and that now connect to the internet but in the not too distant future we will surely see them disappear because of future holographic projectors and all this in less than 60 years.
In conclusion, we had a different afternoon and they were pleased, and I can only invite you to visit the museums of Caracas, let's disconnect from the great network, our city has very good plans to do these vacations, let's enjoy our city.
