Hi there. This short post covers Aipom and Ambipom Pokemon cards from Japan's Inferno X set. The international version of these cards will be in Phantasmal Flames in November 2025.
Aipom
Aipom is a Basic Colourless Pokemon with 70HP, one retreat cost and Fighting weakness.
There is only one attack. For 2 Colourless Energy (2 of any type), the Astonish attack does 20 damage. You also choose a random card from your opponent's hand, reveal it and shuffle it into their deck.
Ambipom
Ambipom is the Stage 1 evolution of Aipom. This has 110 HP, one retreat cost and Fighting weakness.
The first attack of Slap requires 2 Colourless Energy to deal 50 damage.
Dual Tail is the second attack. It requires 3 Colourless Energy which makes it compatible with Ignition Energy. You discard 2 Energy from this Ambipom to deal 60 damage to 2 of your opponent's Pokemon.
Ambipom does lack firepower in its damage. There are better bench snipe attackers than Ambipom like Wellspring Ogerpon ex and maybe Fezandipiti ex.

This card is quite colourful with Ambipom in the middle. For some reason, this card reminds me of Super Monkey Ball, the video game.
This art card could easily go for at least 10 CAD upon release in English.
