Hi there. In this food post, I cover the Jasmine Chinese restaurant in Bratislava, Slovakia. This trip was back in 2023 as we were heading up to the Castle in Bratislava.
Some Pictures
Our travel group arrived in Bratislava, Slovakia from Vienna, Austria. We took a Regiojet bus to get there. It took about 2 hours I think.
The bus dropped us off near the castle. We made our way up to the castle and took some photos along the way.
Jasmine Restaurant + Food
We were halfway up towards the castle, we saw this Chinese restaurant. As our group was hungry, we checked out this place. A Chinese restaurant in Bratislava, Slovakia near the castle was unexpected.
I did not take many pictures from my phone of this place. The interior was clean, modern and stylish. You can check out Tripadvisor for pictures. They also have semi-private rooms with a circular table.
Tripadvisor photos below.

The apron wearing waiters were mostly Slovak locals. We had a Mandarin Chinese speaking waiter. She might have been the owner of the place. Some of the waiters were really tall (6 feet at least).
I wish I took more pictures here. We ordered rice, Sizzling Plate Chicken and Shanghai Noodles with Beef. Pictures from my phone.
The Sizzling Plate chicken dish was kind of big. Big portions here. With the Shanghai Noodle dish, what stood out is the garnish and presentation of this dish. It is not common to see a garnish with radish slices at Chinese restaurants (at least in the Toronto area in general.)
This Jasmine restaurant appears to have traditional Chinese food along with Chinese food that caters to the locals. They do emphasize food presentation.
The food taste was good overall as there was not too much sauce. This lunch was a pleasant and good experience.
My dad was talking to the waiter who was servicing us. We found out that she is from Hangzhou, China. Hangzhou is near Shanghai in the east part of China near Japan and Korea.
