Armarouge is the main engine for this deck. With the Armarouge, you can transfer Fire Energy, Prism Energy and Legacy Energy from your Benched Pokemon to your Active Pokemon. Note that Prism Energy and Legacy Energy can count as Fire Energy or any other type which is compatible with Armarouge.
There are many different attackers in this deck. You want specific attackers depending on the opponent's deck. If the opponent is playing Dragapult ex then Lillie's Clefairy is a mega counter attacker to that. If the opponent is playing Grass or Metal then play Fire Pokemon.

Tournament Format
It is a three round best of one format. For every win, you get a Prize Pack Series 7 booster pack with playable cards. These Prize Packs are exclusive to players who attend local tournaments at card shops. They are not for retail sale. They do get sold on ebay unfortunately.
Round One Vs Dragapult ex + Charizard ex
My round 1 opponent was against someone I played before. In the previous meeting I played an Archlaudon ex deck while he played a pure Dragapult ex deck.

This time around I had a different deck while he had a different variation of the Dragapult ex deck. He played the Dragapult ex + Charizard ex combo deck. His first few turns consisted of him using Budew's Itchy Pollen for stalling and waiting for more setup turns. I use the 20 damage Charcadet to eliminate 2 Budews.

My next two knockouts were using Wellspring Ogerpon ex's Torrential Pump to knockout 2 Pokemon (Active and 1 Benched Pokemon). I chose to knock out a Dreepy and 1 Drakloak. This would leave him with 2 Charmanders left.

I think during the next turn, my opponent gets out Charizard ex. As I knocked out 4 Pokemon the Charizard ex does have one hit knockout power. I did struggle against this Charizard comeback but with some luck I did manage to 2 hit knockout this Charizard in the end.
Round Two Vs Eevee Themed Deck With Leafeon ex
The round two opponent was someone I have faced before too. I thought he was using Gholdengo ex based on my previous meeting. It turned out that he was playing an Eevee ex deck.
Something that caught me off guard was his Leafeon ex. Because I have too much Energy on my side, his Leafeon ex was able to one hit Knockout my Ethan's Ho-Oh ex. I was able to knockout this Leafeon ex on my next turn with Chi-Yu.

I will spare the details here but I ended up losing this one in a close late game scenario. In hindsight, I targeted the wrong Pokemon. There were 3 targets I had in mind but I chose the wrong one in retrospect. He used a damaged Flareon ex with a Sparkling Crystal + Crispin to one hit knockout my Terapagos ex with the 280 damage Carnelian attack.

Round Three Vs United Wings Meme Deck
My round 3 opponent was somewhat I have faced a couple of times before. She played United Wings this time around. I saw her beat her round 2 opponent beside me.

This game did not work out well for me. I forgot how fast this United Wings deck can perform. I missed two turns of getting a Wellspring Ogerpon ex attack to remove 2 of her attackers. At this point, the United Wings attackers have one hit knockout power against anything I had. I got unlucky with this loss for the most part.
Tourney Results, Pulls and Bought Cards
I ended up with 1 win and 2 losses. Getting the round 1 win was good. That opponent ended up with 2 wins and 1 loss. Round 2 was close. The round 3 game felt unlucky but my opponent finally beat me after 4 tries. I did congratulate her. If I knew or guessed right that the round 2 opponent played Leafeon ex then I would have played more safely. Little things like this do make a big difference. Playing better in this case would consist more of predicting the opponent's lines of play more.
From the 1 win I get one Prize Pack Series 7 booster pack. The store also gave one extra pack from Prize Pack Series 6. The organizer had extra and wanted the give the old ones away. From the old pack I got a stamped Dragapult ex. In the new pack, I did not get anything too crazy.
I did buy some Japanese cards from the tournament store. In addition I got some free cards from a different store after my purchase there.
At a third store, I found a free Hilda laying around in their free bins. A note said to take one and leave one in which I did. Hilda is a highly playable card that is around 4 to 5 CAD each.
Thank you for reading.
