My first morning in Dolomites was a bit cold. Walking to the spot from a parking lot near Riffugio Auronzo and looking on the clear sky I was hoping to have some clouds during sunrise. Unfortunatelly, it didn't happen, but was I disappointed? Not at all! I was totally enchanted with the beauty all around. And when the rising sun touched the peaks I understood I am falling in love with Dolomites.

About the place
wikipedia: The Tre Cime di Lavaredo are three distinctive battlement-like peaks, in the Sexten Dolomites of northeastern Italy. They are probably one of the best-known mountain groups in the Alps.
The peaks are composed of well-layered dolostones of the Dolomia Principale (Hauptdolomit) formation, Carnian to Rhaetian in age, as are many other groups in the Dolomites.
A number of feature films have used Tre Cime for location shooting, including The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones: Tales of Innocence (1999) and The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, both starring Sean Patrick Flanery. More recently, in May 2017 it was reported that the Han Solo spin-off within the Star Wars universe was filmed at Tre Cime as well.
