Hi Hivers, Continuing my journey to discover Ha Giang province, today I would like to show you the beauty of Nhung village in the ripe rice season. First let me introduce a little about Nhung village. It is a small village about 15km east of Hoang Su Phi district center, Ha Giang province. Its area is only about 17.27 square kilometers. The main population here is the Nung and Tay ethnic minorities. Like most other villages in Ha Giang, the terrain here is mainly mountainous. Therefore, in the ripe rice season, the terraced rice fields create a majestic and poetic beauty for this place.
During my exploration in Ha Giang in the ripe rice season, I went through many different lands. Each land has its own beauty. Nhung village, with its sparse population density, has an unspoiled beauty. The winding roads through the mountains seemed to stretch on endlessly. Occasionally during that journey I came across a few houses. Some houses are even alone in the high mountains. To my left were steep cliffs, and to my right were deep valleys.
Although the road was quite difficult and dangerous, I was still very enjoyable and eager. During my journey in Nhung village, beautiful terraced rice fields kept appearing one after another. The terraced rice fields seem to stretch on endlessly. I really admire the will and diligence of the people here. They must have put a lot of effort and time into creating these majestic terraces with rudimentary farming tools. Especially in the ripe rice season, the yellow color of the rice has covered the high mountains with a golden color, creating a very poetic beauty.
Nhung village is the destination from Phung village through Hoa Cheo Phin and Luc village. They are all worthy destinations in the way to discover the beauty of Ha Giang in the ripe rice season. The rice season here is in April and September. So my advice is that you shouldn't miss it.
