My life be like πΌOoooh Ahhhh
After an unintended family concern to start off 2018, I went on a lovely, well needed holiday.
My partner, best friend n his lady, and I travelled interstate to Sydney for five days. We stayed at a funky hotel on Bondi Beach called QT Bondi and soaked up that east-coast sunny lifestyle.

Thursday
An early dusk espresso martini before boarding βοΈ and before we knew, we were looking for a cab in Sydney. After dropping our luggage, we went to the city to have a look around, then headed to the SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium.
We bought tickets online prior, which granted us express entry, and made it slightly cheaper. I made lots of new friends ππ π¦
Friday
The following morning, we walked along the spectacular 3km coastal trail from Bondi to Bronte. We were planning on venturing further but breathetaking views and selfies chewed our time, so we had to head back.
That evening, we got our bling and swagger on and headed on out to see the hip-hop legend Fiddy Cent. He was doing his Australian leg of his tour, to celebrate his 15 year anniversary of the Get Rich or Die Trying album. I've owned the 50cent album since back in the '03 and brought the CD case across with me π
Saturday
Hungover, exhausted and all crip-walked out, we caught the ferry at Circular Quay across the harbour to Taronga Zoo Here we also ordered our zoo + cable ride tickets prior to arrival, which made everything smoother.
I made some new friends here tooπ¦π―

That evening we ate at a really upbeat bar on Bondi called The Bucket List. Their food and drinks were exquisite. We then headed into the city to Marble Bar which was probably the best bar I've ever seen, with exceptional bar staff. After some tasty cocktails, we tracked through the rain to Ivy Nightclub, exhaustion and wetness battered our clubby vibe and we headed home to catch up on some Z's. π΄

Sunday
Pushing though, we ventured for breakfast on a busy Sunday morning at Porch and Parlour I had amazing 'porched' eggs in their Hash n Mash breakfast.
There were also some swimming races going on. Congrats to all the people participating, especially the over 50's and 60's ππΌπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
We were fueled and ready to experience the Museum of Contemporary Art Again, we ordered our tickets online which helped beat the busy lineups as we explored the highly anticipated Swiss works from Pipilotti Rist.

That night we ate dinner at the Bennelong Restaurant at the Sydney Opera House Exceptional service, small portions but still very filling. To top it off, for dessert, I had the iconic Opera House Pavlova. Or as I called it, the Pavl-Opera House ππ€€
Monday
On our final day, we soaked up the last of the beach life, body surfing the waves, hoping we didn't end up on Bondi Rescue π
Overall, we had a lovely trip and it was great to get away. I did however miss the less hectic lifestyle at home. AND much less traffic π΅
Goodnight from another great lunchin' at Milky Lane
