For a person who has spent a lot of time as a retail manager, I wasn't a big cigarette or coffee person. Now don't get me wrong, I do love a nice strong coffee with a little cream and no sugar. However, I can stop at one cup in the morning. And smoking was never my thing, except for the occasional cigar. Many of the managers that I worked with had to have a cigarette with their coffee. When I was a consultative sales person at Sears, I would take air breaks because I wasn't a smoker. This was my way of saying if a sales member can go outside and smoke after every sale because of a desire, then I should be able to get the same amount of breaks.
Sometimes, I don't always finish my one cup of coffee. Decaf never made it to my cup. It was always regular but I do stray into many flavored coffees. There is a blend that has a hazelnut taste at a local bagel shop that I simply love. French Vanilla is another favorite. Another place has a Hawaiian Blend that is out of this world! I drank a Starbucks coffee black during an interview of a local musician.
I prefer hot coffee over hot tea, but iced tea is another story. Having an Italian family, I drank a cup of demitasse from a very young age. This is a very strong espresso. Many times, I have had coffee with a splash of Anisette. Therefore, it is fair to say that I like coffee, but I am not obsessed.
