Inkaleida - Ink and Markers on sketchbook > animation
The Ink spread, consumed emptiness, turned it into something special, intricate, weird, delicious and maybe even magical.

Nothing could stop the spread of the doodledanga.
ll that friction, all that ink.
I tend to forget and I also subconsciously downplay that making art, creating and producing beautiful or ugly things just for the sake of doing, doesn't just feel great to do. It also has its personal value whether it is to create something beautiful, evoke a message or a feeling, to expand own limits, or perhaps just play and have fun. You name it. No one can say NO, only you. You set the rules and also the limits.
Creating art or crafts can be fulfilling, entertaining, cathartic, liberating. It can be rewarding, give a sense of accomplishment. It can help anyone express messages they can't set on words. It can be insignificant, or it can be sacred. You make your own journey. You are the creator. How does art feel to you? You fill up the page and gaze at the marvel of being a creature that can create and give life to such things? Or maybe you just like to wonder into others' creations? How do you experience art in your life?

Inking Emptyness
A nice thing about creating mandalas, is that you can create without thinking. You only know that something will bloom from somewhere. Where, what and how, you make the decisions but you don't have to think them if you don't want to. There's no way to do it wrong. What will be born out of the improvisation in time, the experimentation of inking of emptyness.
This mandala (Inkaleida) was made freehand. I believe there is something really nice about the imperfection of drawing, that reminds me of looking at a human face - perfectly imperfect. That imperfection is something I like to take into my art because I don't think there's a reason to force perfection. and I believe those imperfections give uniqueness to life and to art.
There's no need to force perfection. Everything is already perfect in it's own way.
Minting this has been on top of my head for months. I didn't want to post anything else before posting this. It's funny cause I thought I would use that license I made on that other post, but I had totally forgot that NFTShowroom already has this kind of licensing - Invisible forever blockage unlocked. I actually made the license to work with other blockchains but I had somehow forgot it was already there.
The original drawing was made when I was living at San Marcos de Atitlan in Guatemala back in around 2016. It is inspired in mayan art, ayahuasca visions, and love.

Let Life
To me, this artwork is a symbolic reminder to slow down, to keep it simple, to meditate, to breathe mindfully, to relax, to take it easy and stay vibrant, radiating, positive, lively and happy, to stop to take a look around, reassess when necessary, to make decisions, to move, to breathe, to give life time to manifest itself and not try to force things when the time is not right. But mostly, it's about patience and temperance.
These are the things that were involved in creating this art piece and getting to the point of sharing it here. It is symbol of expansion, movement and growth with it's ebbs and flows, just like life. You can't force fruit to ripen, but you can for sure give the tree good nutrients to make the fruits great so always do the best you can to feed it good.
Come back to center when necessary. Re-engage when ready. Don't rush it. Some things take time, work and tinkering to figure out.
