My Actifit Report Card: August 17 2025 Sunday with Maracay's friends

Today when I woke up I thought I would have a quiet Sunday, with little activity outside the house (something atypical in my Sundays) but everything changed when my friend Victor wrote me to meet in the afternoon at the Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda park and do a photo shoot, he is an amateur photographer.

Then a few minutes later talking to a friend named Sol told me she was in Caracas and I told her I would like to see her so the day took an unexpected turn.

Sol is from Maracay and was in Caracas working with a foundation that does social work. We arranged to meet at the proceres promenade here in Caracas, while I was waiting for her she gave me the chance to do some parallel and abdominal exercises.

We walked a bit along the promenade and went to the paseo los próceres shopping mall because she wanted to eat something. Apart from laughing a lot, we talked about some short and medium term plans, about the thoughts that limit us, about the people around us and how they make us feel and how they influence our energy, we also talked a little about love and how we express affection and how that makes us feel; it reminded me a lot of the talks we used to have in Maracay, only now with more experience and being adults. We bought some cakes that we didn't have the chance to take pictures of 😂 but we enjoyed it very much, they were really delicious. The pictures we took together we didn't like very much 😅 but here I share one with you. On the contrary, the picture I took of her I really liked.

I accompanied her to pick up her things at the place where she was staying and I accompanied her to the bus terminal to take her bus to Maracay, all this walking.

Then it was my turn to meet Victor and his wife Doubraska, I took a bus and then in the park we were walking, talking, laughing and trying to take some good pictures with his camera.

Victor and Doubraska have been living in Caracas for some years but both are from Maracay and we don't see each other very often, but I like to see them and know about them when I see them sharing a photo or video in the networks, their son Noah is just 2 months old and he is a beautiful baby, I think they don't know how happy I am to see them living this moment of their lives, being parents and husbands but above all being happy parents and husbands.

I have known them for years when they were not even boyfriend and girlfriend, we all sang in the symphonic choir of Aragua and we still keep our friendship.

After being in the park I accompanied them to a nearby shopping mall and came home. For some reason today I got to see my friends from Maracay, I think that coincidences do not exist, there must be some reason but it was a good day, a day in which I walked a lot and a day to thank life and the universe.
