A Photo Album of Life: Choosing Which Memory to Erase
Just like a photo album, life keeps taking you through the pictures of joy, love, pain and heartbreaks.
Those memories shapes who we truly are. But if i'm giving the power to erase just one thing that I want to, I would love to erase the moment that I doubted my capital capabilities.
I could remember it was just one quiet and innocent evening or just sitting alone, confused I wasn't good enough to chase the dream and purpose, I was planning on so that memory really sting but not because, it was just loud but it planted the seed of fear and doubts in my life that took years to get rid of and upwards
I had big ideas. My writing. My creativity. I was building something that was very meaningful but do you know what I liked that moment of save that script in my mind. I told myself I'm not capable enough, I'm m not attractive, I'm not talented enough, I'm not smart enough.
Right now I can see picture myself just calling up on the couch, looking like someone that has already accepted defeat in life scrolling to social media and looking at the success of others and feeling pity for myself and those people will become a very big weight in my life those times keep holding me back from taking that big risk and believing in my own self.
If I'm in a position to erase this. I would love to replace it with the courage, I started to find later that kind of pushed me to take on something big and that was what inspired me to write this post also to share my voice and to try to connect with everyone in the Hive community
You have to know that don't define you, it's just an imagination just a thought but sometimes those that can slow you down and put your dreams in a dormant position and you need to to put that that or else it will keep holding you back for years
I know erasing those that would change who i am but it might remind me that i'm enough for the task i had of me even when i'm still passing two challenges so the whole beauty of life is that we can't completely erase those memories but we can try to rewrite the what we want for our life and make it powerful in our life
That moment of you thinking about resilience courage and overcoming fear, it's not time to carry this heavy weight anymore. So I have learned that every step forward don't matter, you know that you're stronger than your fears.
Whatever memory that keeps you where you are down, that failure that break, don't be ashamed know that this story is not always all yours, you still have the power to let go. You don't have to erase it completely but you have to choose to focus on those moments that keep uplifting you
Take your time, think of the memories that lives with you but don't let it define you, instead you have to write that new chapter that you're about enter and encourage yourself that you're unstoppable. Life is too short to keep carrying those memories when you're meant to keep going higher and higher.
